The more I listen to Brody's music the more I feel I could be wrong. As a long time hardcore fan of Blondie and Debbie Harry, I've felt there were very few if any who could come near Debbie's level of smarts and ability, let alone sheer appeal. Brody is putting the error to that thinking. This woman is without doubt capable of a great deal, more than she's done to date. She clearly has the talent and acumen to capitalize and cash out and milk mainstream, but instead she sticks to producing simply amazing work regardless of whether it goes mainstream or not. This is one of those rare instances where a musician stays true to themselves and just creates what they want, what they like, and the way they want. Thoroughly impressed.
