Hahaha, I've always said the same thing! Nardwuar is like the CIA of the music world in that he can dig up the most obscure info & he thoroughly researches his interviewees! He finds out things that nobody else could possibly know & it's funny to see ppls reactions sometimes, "Where did you hear that?", or "How do you know all this?" It puts some ppl on edge, especially with his unorthodox interviewing style & his punk geek/nerd schtick! There is no other like him! Nothing gets him down either! He's got a lot of haters & ppl who bully him in interviews-a**holes who in no way deserve to meet Nardwuar, but he still keeps going! That's dedication there-ppl who actually take pride in what they do!
Knute Lindstrom Exactly!! I know what you mean, the guys from Sonic Youth were just awful to him! He is an amazing interviewer IMO, incredibly unique and funny!
I notice a lot of the time Nardwuar makings the people he's interviewing uncomfortable or annoyed and stuff and this time he seemed so happy to talk to The Distillers XD
