Ok honestly for real? I've played P5 so many times and I never noticed that damage on Captain Kid's leg symboling Ryuji's injury. That is some good detail right there, and also for real Ryuji really is best bro. He takes a vorpal blade BY HIMSELF with no persona just to save Ren in P5R, dude is loyal and funny.
I also noticed thay the guy on his chariot tarot card has a broken arm.
He is the kind of friend that when you're down will go to your house with a pizza, a PS5 and say "hey wanna hang out?"
Cool thing I learned late in my playthrough: it's not animated, but Ryuji walks with an audible limp. If you go to the Thieves Den and transform into him, his walking soundclip is off-kilter. Everybody else's is even.
Ryuji is actually the first confidant I maxed out because he was and always will be my favourite male persona 5 character
Honestly, how is it HIS fault that the explosion actually just kicked him out of the Palace instead of killing him? Those girls had no reason to beat up Ryuji like that. I mean, he just risked his life to save the whole Team. Gotta give him some credit there.
It's a common trope, the "oh god we were so scared we thought you were dead I'm gonna hit you for making me scared" one.

I’m also concerned how none of the boys tried to help out Ryuji in that situation. Not even Ren. I was just thinking “Guys, can’t you tell them to stop? Ren, you’re supposed to be the leader here, wtf?”
@@dragonman2168 I seriously hate that. Like I could get it if the girls were crying and hitting his chest (not in a hurtful way) saying “we thought you died” as way to show they’re being emotional but not actively hurting him like some anime do. But what they did to him was messed up

A good number of anime girls are just too stubborn to show how worried they can really be towards their allies, that their pride swallows them up and makes them behave as if they hardly care for their male allies, or even love interests. It is a real pain in the butt that is not funny.
One Persona 5 crossover I'm writing is about the Phantom Thieves fighting against a whole harem of tsunderes, and restoring that other anime world to it's gender equal state.

I have nothing but love for Ryuji, he is the type of friend that you would always want in your corner. His loyalty, his sense of humor, and fun personality always put a smile on my face which why I think he rightfully earned the title of best boy of Persona 5.

I remember I had Ryuji at like rank 7 or something and everyone else at 2-3 around after kamoshida’s confession.
I always seem to immediately love these types of characters, and my longtime best friend is actually a lot like this archetype. That’s probably the reason.
