i agree with your decision. my CS, DWX compact, KDS9c.... all of them will drop the safety when cross drawn in leather if i bend over. and I'm pretty thin. no bueno.
Whoa that is crazy, definitely no good. I only have one leather holster but didn't use it much, None of my 1911/2011 style guns drop the safety while carrying in kydex.

I've got the same grips on my S2C, I love them. The only thing I'm trying to figure out now is how to keep the stock mag release from digging into my stomach while appendix carrying? Does that safety you have help with that?
@@rcwarrior868 No the safety does not help with the mag release, I actually put a bigger mag release on there than the stock one. I don't have the same issue though
Another question do the irons actual hit on target? I'm running a impact machine rdo plate with built in rear iron but it's hitting high with factory front fiber optical sight.
My plate is a CZ plate, no rear optic, the iron sites are built into the back of the optic with fiber optics. To tell the truth I've never tried to aim with them lol. I didn't feel I need them, but I will tomorrow night and report back
Nope doesn't affect it at all, slide stop works and functions just like a normal one. Putting pressure on it doesn't make it stop the slide and it doesn't stop the slide from locking back on empty. On mine...

Last question is when installing the new safety spring, was it a little tighter to get on the actual detent? The original spring just slid on. The new spring i received, i had to twist it on there with a bit of force. Not crazy amounts, but still noticeable Haven't completed the reassembly just yet**
@@BigChungus0341 I honestly don't remember how hard it was to get back on the detent, I did have some issues on reassembly pressing the detent in to get the safety in its final resting spot. You really need a small pic to do it in good eyes or a magnifying glass LOL
Yeah the stock safety is mushy, Cajun gun works is where you can get one. There's another place but I can't remember the name of it. Cajun would probably be best they have a lot of parts for it.

I don't think that extended safety is that wide to cause enough trouble with any holster, it's all the way at the back of the gun and going to be pretty high up on the sweatguard, you could easily fix it with a heat gun, I doubt you would even have to fix it I think the extended safety would just bend the kydex a little. All the holsters that I use for the s2c are ones that I made because I had a slide stop thumbrest that was wide as hell. It's funny one of the ones I made I now use for my ex macro because I run the same light and it works perfectly lol.
Nope, the only holster that I know of that works for the Eemann tech slide stop Is the one I made LOL, I've heard that ghost tactical makes one that works for it. Werkz has one called the outlier that will work with the s2c and the tlr1 but I don't think it will accommodate that slide stop. Tier one and McKinnatech work with the s2c and the tlr1, but they don't have enough room for that slide stop either. So check ghost tactical, there is another commenter I was talking to on Reddit that said they have one that will work with that slide stop.
It makes it so easy to control, I believe the opening shots of the video show how easy it is to control, there may be some other shots in there with the slide stop running. If you combine the slide stop with the extended safety it's so easy to lock this gun down it doesn't even have a chance to move. That is if you ride the extended safety like a 2011.

It's all good man, we all have to watch without volume sometimes lol. Those are Lok veloce Palm swells. I run the exact same ones on my DWX as well, I'm pretty sure they're my favorite.
Don't really understand the SAO conversion on this particular gun, the S2C single action pull is already pretty much 2-2.5 lbs with no creep and insanely short reset, there isn't much to improve on and it can be run cocked and locked just like an SAO setup
While the gun is DA/SA the trigger has a rolling break, there is creep. If you pull it slow you can tell, many people out there try to get rid of that creep. The trigger is very different when you convert it to single action only, When you do this you remove the disconnector as well as changing the trigger. Cz makes a single action only version of the Shadow full size, they do that because the triggers are definitely better. Even when you drop in the single action trigger and remove the disconnector there's still a tiny little bit of creep, to get rid of that you need the cajun Gun works racehammer and the adjustable sear. That cleaned up the last little bit. For me it's a preference thing, I don't like double action. I don't want two different trigger pulls on my gun I want everything consistent. I always want the best trigger, and single action is it. I don't like having to hold the hammer when I re-holster my gun, which is the safe way to reholster a double action gun. I'd rather run cocked and locked, and while reholstering simply hammer down with no chance of fire, or back on cocked and locked.
We just got a S2c in the store and the trigger sucks, definitely a rolling break just like he's saying, probably 3.5-4 on the SA, and and 6.5-7 on the DA. It's a pass. Not a fan, love my tricked out Shadow 2.
@DaveandDebe I could see the rolling break aspect on account of light pull, but I'm not sure what's wrong with yours mine is 100% a 2.5 pull give or take 0.5, it's so light I almost feel like it's not suited for carrying you could sneeze through it
No it definitely doesn't come with it, you got to hunt one down, it was a pain in the ass to find last year they were out of stock everywhere. But I know where to get them at

Yeah that's the best fit for this gun, I only started running the tlr1 on it because it makes it fit in a holster for that light.

I carry strong side. But when I did carry appendix I didn't have that issue, with it without the safety. I even run an extended mag release

Congrats man! The recoil is fine, no issues. That low bore axis helps. The gun is tower accurate and tracks, return to zero is great with my grip

When you shoot with that thumb rest on, does it not affect the slide catch from doing its job for when you go empty? (Slide lock to the rear)
Nope doesn't affect it at all, slide stop works and functions just like a normal one. Putting pressure on it doesn't make it stop the slide and it doesn't stop the slide from locking back on empty. On mine...

One of my holsters was leaving a little mark on the nose, I wasn't super impressed with the coating. But it's not bad

@@comptonunhh5145 the trigger weights, creep and feel vary greatly on the CZ pistols, My CZ triggers are all completely redone to be incredible
