Nice review! Hands down out of the box the S2C is the better gun (especially if you don’t care on the decocker). Now for the price, the P01 is the better gun for most people until you add cajun work, optics cut, etc, then you start getting into a closer price range + time of your gun being away being worked on. All in all, you can get a P01 dang close to the S2C for about $100-$200 cheaper 👍
@@shootandcruise Thanks for the feedback. I might be a little biased. I also have many hours behind the p01 so I'm used to it. The S2C surprised me hands down a better trigger. What I didn't say (i forgot) the S2C isn't a direct mill for a specific optic. It uses a plate system as I understand it.
Your comparison needs more context, what is the intended, primary use case? Carry? Or Competition? Carry P01 every day. Comp, S2C, every day, unless you do all the CGW upgrades to the P01, then it’s personal preference for competition.
@dj6P5U depends on what your intent for it is. CC VS Compition VS range toy. For CC yes, buy the s2c. But if your not going to carry it, Shadow 2. Hope this helps. I shoot a spo1 full size for competition but carry the po1.
Shadow 2 compact comes out the box way better trigger and optic ready. You kinda down played the fact you upgraded the trigger and grips for the p01. Which means you kinda payed more for that while having to wait for all those upgrades to come/happen. Both are great are great pistols. Me personally I trust the double action for safety at quarter cocked. I got the s2c because I wanted the bels and whistles without worrying about the extra process of the lead time for the machining and assembling all the trigger without it still not being as good. I can’t blame either choice though.
@b3astmde939 The OMEGA trigger comes standard in the version from CZ. Only thing I did aftermarket was optic cut and slide serartions. And this was like 5 years ago, S2C dose come out of the box way better. After slide work still cheaper than the S2C. Can't go wrong either way. I do like that more companies are offering optic ready versions.

In my country the Omega cost 960€ and Shadow compact 1450€. I'm gonna go for Omega because the price.😊

Shadow 2 C isn’t a competition or carry gun. The p01 already is nice enough and has a robust aftermarket

You are aware there’s a carry gun segment for IDPA the s2c can be used in, correct?

@@rdb3823 any standard CZ 75 magazine should work. But to be certain order the ones for the PO-1
The compact 15 rounds fit flush. Mec Gar makes the CZ factory mags and CZ stamps their logo on them just so you guys know if you didn't already.
P01 and 75d pcr are the better pistol.
After 500rds, my s2c trigger breaks at 2 1/2lbs to 3 lbs.
