Bit late to the party in finding this and I am not one for posting comments. Really enjoyable and informative. I have followed Adams coaching on TH-cam. To me, it make sense and simplified the the mystery to us club golfers, the golf swing. I now only work on the what I am seeing through Adams teaching postings. I don’t get bogged down flitting through the copious amount of guidance that is available, that would be mind blowing. I am now in my mid sixties and have hung on to my single figure handicap and I am convinced that what I have picked up from watching Porzak golf has helped. Thanks Mark for the opportunity to listen to Adam away from the range. Thanks Adam for sharing your knowledge.
Had a private lesson with Adam. Great experience and he’s one of the nicest person I’ve ever met. His enthusiasm for the golf and more importantly your improvement is sincere and heartfelt. Thanks Adam and thank you Mark for having Adam on your podcast.
Porzak Golf has been tremendously valuable to me and my game. They keep to very simple and foundational techniques. They don't get you lost in all of today's trendy and overly complicated swing techniques. Mike and Adam are outstanding communicators and generous with sharing their expertise.
Adam is gold. Could rewatch this weekly. I’d love to hear more about the release from a guest with a swing philosophy like Adam’s. It seems so important to know exactly what the hands and wrists do through impact.
Here in Quebec ,Canada ,we don’t t have these guys that teach with passion or guts ,thats why he s the man for me and wish he would come here,i would surely enroll for a week.
Long time follower of Porzak Golf and they are the real deal, many times I thought of quitting golf but his teachings and system really helped me enjoy golf again. Shout out to Adam!
Thanks so much for this great interview. I've been following Adam's work for about a year now and it's always impressive and enlightening (as is Todd Sones). I'm adding lessons with Adam to my calendar.
Excellent video with lots of excellent information from Adam Porzak. I've been watching his videos for a couple of year and almost alway find benefit from them. This video covered a lot of topics that show why he teaches what he does and why it works. I hope you do have more videos with him in the future.
Have been following Adam’s TH-cam for a few years, and started taking FaceTime lessons over the last few months. Has helped my swing and my game tremendously. No better golf coach to follow!!
Adam's TH-cam channel has done so much to transform my golf swing. I've gone down the YT golf instruction rabbit hole like many here, but the way he explains the swing on his channel simply "clicked".
What’s helped me is mastering grip, setup, alignment and ball position and I don’t think about much else. If my swing is off, I’m usually either not using the ground to load my lower body properly or my transition is way too rushed. So, I come back to my rhythm/tempo and feel that my transition takes a couple seconds. I don’t try to leave my hands behind me and rotate. I simply feel a mini Hideki pause before allowing my hands to travel down towards the ball.
@@russellnichols1735 I’m new to game and don’t strictly track my handicap. However, going through my scorecards over the last few months, I am around a 16-17 right now. I’ve been playing for a year and I love the game. Average score of 90ish but shot an 84 2 weeks ago. Hopefully I can consistently break 85 moving forward.
Porzak changed my game in less time with his youtube, then so called teaching pro's i have talked and taken lessons to in years... I would suggest, ask them (who wants to teach you) to hit balls infront of you and tell you how the golf swing works. If they can't or don't want to go to someone who does... Shitty teaching ruins the game and makes folks drop the game... lets do better with instruction...
The "freezer drill" is the most misunderstood drill ever, it has NOTHING to do with sequencing - its true genius is training the player how to keep the shoulder in its socket - th-cam.com/video/RstfB8R9hwo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eykT682Va3vmwzxi&t=184 - freeze all you want at the top if you don't know the essence of it, its as good as learning kung fu from watching jacky chan movies.

Too many TUBES on TH-cam wanting a “click” to become an instant golf pro. ADAM is the only person I follow/listen to now. He’s class 💥🏌🏻

Thanks Mark for showcasing Adam's best youtube instruction hands down. When my game goes south Adam's checkpoints fixes me every time
I've seen some of Adams videos and I've liked them but 8 minutes into this video and I really like him now.

And a dozen others are on top of their stuff when it comes to modern instruction. They just get it!

Nice. Simplicity is akways good.
What’s your HC with that approach?

Great video! Mark needs a new pen with the amount of notes he was taking 😂
You noticed that?! LOL
@ I don’t blame you though…the guy’s a genius 🏌🏼♂️
Brian Henninger next! The Golf Farm, Portland Oregon
We will look into that!

Truth
Every golf instructor knows everything and everyone else are just idiots
