The Sorento bumps up against the cut off for max weight and size for a 4 cyl turbo. But the output exceeds even that of the 4 cyl Subarus. Luckily, it has 8 speed automatic transmission (dual clutch was all the rage when it first came out on Porsches, now not so much). A CVT would have been an utter disaster; even with steps, the CVTs nearly ruin the Subaru 2.5 turbo flat four. Kia makes the Sorento look like fun, with decent performance and good hiway cruising characteristics. Now that EVs are happily hitting the sh*tter where they belong, the Sorento has a good shot at growing into a worthwhile piece. Great job as usual, Ben.
