Great informational video and explanation of the the overall reverse engineering process. Now that you have much of car in digital format, mirroring the geometry will be a huge time saver! Wishing you much success with this project and looking forward to your future videos. Thanks for sharing...

have you ever considered relocating the gas filler cap so the fenders are smooth, and putting the filler inside the hatch?
    that would look sick.

i love the fact that you have actual wide wheels. i did 11.5 and 12.5 on my rb front ccc rear 350z at the time and wasnt satisfied because i ran 20mm spacers.. most people i knew had like 10-10.5 front and like 10.5-11 rears with like 1.5-2inch spacers and high negative offsets to cheat the look.

Its been a long time coming, looks great man. Congrats!
I love the modularity in choosing which pieces you want. I dont even have a Z but it is a lot of fun just to imagine how I would build mine.

Absolutely beautiful design, you're to be a legend for this brother, i myself is working on a few designs for a kit to mass produce, i just have 1 3D printer so i can feel your issues through entire production process, but keep it up, never lose sight, and you will definitely make this happen! #staydriven

What was the motivation behind it and what’s it going to cost

Thanks for your questions. The design was inspired primarily by Japanese mecha and samurai armor. There is no set price point yet, but the estimation is around 10-12k for a complete kit.
