The Laughing Jack Not cuddly but quite goofy. For some reason, both in the wild and the captive lions I've seen, male lions are totally goofy when they think nobody's looking. Unless you are the Lion Whisperer and you rescued an entire pride from a canned hunting operation and care for them on a game preserve, cuddling is not an option. Look at Tippi Hedren and the cast and crew of Roar. They all got scars from that ill-fated shoot.

+DerHeimatlose1 No, housecats are domesticated, and have been for thousands of years. It goes all the way to Egypt. However, big cats are wild animals. They should not be cuddled. Actually the Big Cat Rescue people can better explain why they take a "hands-off" approach to their wild charges. Not every legitimate exotic animal rescue takes this approach, but most do.

We have not tried that. These days Jospeh is pretty good about taking his medication.

Poor cats. They deserve to be out in the wild where they belong, but so many of them are in danger that it’s just not safe for them. I’m happy there’s a place like Big Cat Rescue that takes care of those kitties.
