whereisangie bro the are in America too. I lived in Ohio and Tennessee (currently in Tennessee) and there are mountain lions here and in Ohio. I saw one in both States

sand cats have to have about 10 times normal levels of cattitude, because all of my (appropriate weight for their builds) have at least a few pounds on a full-grown one. (they are NOWHERE near being an apex predator.)
It is great that these lovely cats, most of whom came from abusive backgrounds, can now be so spoiled!

@@bigcatrescue they more than earned every bit of it. i haven't seen everybody's "how they got here" story, but the ones i have did make me cry and also made me want to scritch my (domestic-ish) rescues a little more.

if we're talking genie the sand cat, that threat display is sort of a necessity. (my rescue domestic-ish cats are all healthy weights for their build, and they all probably have at least a couple pounds on her.)

The air conditioners were originally for three snow leopards. After they passed the lynx were given those enclosures

I was watching this video and my cat was asleep on the couch next to me. When the lion roared at the end, my "ferocious" Buster jumped up and off the couch with his tail bristling. Too funny!

We actually took your idea for our dogs! We mix together some wet food and water and freeeze it then give it to them. They will spend hours licking their delicous treat :)

I actually saw a video in a series about Snow Leopards being raised in England, called "Snow Leopards of Leafy London". In one episode of the series, one of the keepers said the cats (not exclusive to Snow Leopards, by the way) actually enjoy a little bit of algae in their water.
Even though they are wild animals they all seem friendly is this because they had people that owned them before or are they just use to you?
