Commenting on this older video because the pack is still sold. This isn't a hiking backpack. Truly. I own an Odyssey 39L, and I bought it for business travel -- run through airports, etc. The pocket divisions aren't great, in my opinion. It has that organizer section -- I've never needed such a feature hiking. When fully packed, it juts out a bit far backwards for my taste (and for navigating crowded places, too.). The sternum straps snap on, and I've lost one. Overall, the bag isn't bad, but it has a hard time deciding what it is good at, and may fall short no matter what you call it. But, it isn't a hiking backpack.

Great review. You really get to know the product you're buying. I've owned this backpack for three years and just learned about the slots where you could tuck the hip belts.

kinda unfortunate that the ones currently sold aren't the same quality. There are pretty obvious downgrades compared to way earlier models

I guess this one is the older version. The one I got from B&H is a bit different. The most notorious difference is the daisy chain where the old version shown on this video is made of fabric, while the new version I got the daisy chain is plastic.
