can you move the camera without everything being powered on? I need to reposition it to go back in the box and I don't want to break anything if you can't move it without power
The problem is the doorbell ring is wired🔔I have electrical power. I see you connected the app using wifi. I have to be changing my wifi address too often. I want to set up my app to connect through wired, I have several (9)ring flood lights. I'm tired of climbing up the ladder 🪜every time I think I need to change my wifi address💻 Or I have to pay $150. I want to be able to view pictures and outside through my 📴phone app.📲 I do have a TV that is used for just monitoring the cameras.🔕 Maybe someone can help me.
@@Daddicated Thanks If spend a lot of time online you should change your wifi every 3 months. Weird going on's and erratic behavior and little things I notice. Some of these routers have breaches before you hear about it. That is a very excellent idea you gave me. Thanks! I do have 2 networks (1 is security) not the same as the ring stuff.
@@Daddicated Guess what, I found out ring have developed the app more. You can set the cameras from within. But you do have to reset the circuit breakers, cool.😎 Plus my neighbor was on his ladder resetting them for me last night. I had an extra ring floodlight camera I told him to try out on his property. So I’m so happy 😀. Now I want those pan camera and solar.
You neglected to either install a waterproof gasket or sealant. Yes this Is in an area where Rain might not get in Every time it rains a but don't forget About horizontal rain. F-.
Whether you are remove an old one or you are installing on top of a junction box you are still doing the process of installing. If you need to learn how to run new wire and install a junction box then that's probably what you should search first. Unfortunately, I don't have a video for that otherwise I would of recommended one of mine to watch. 😁

You’re welcome. 😁
Where did you get the black ground wire from?
I think it was wire I cut off from the old fixture.

I’m pretty sure you can.
Shouldn’t it be installed on a waterproof electrical round box?
Probably wouldn’t hurt.
The amount of negative/snarky comments from people with zero views on their channels is crazzzzy 😂 keyboard bums
You are awesome. 👊🏼 this made me smile. 😅
I don’t have a wife, instructions unclear…
Which part is unclear?

Why are you changing wifi so often? Maybe you need to figure out how to do a separate wifi just for the cameras kind of like a guest network

@@miraclelove991 Yeah you are probably right to be better on the safe side.

🤷🏻♂️ I don’t recall seeing a seal.
Your video says you are installing, wrong. You’re replacing a light that’s already got wires connected, get it right
