I didn't realize T-Mobile was top 5 in capacity globally. It says a lot that the Mariners sell out when the team is good. Shouldn't be a surprise though, I hear people as far as Alaska travel to T-Mobile lol.
A couple notable NCAA venues that (maybe) could have made the list: Dudy Noble Field at Mississippi State University has a max capacity of 14,991 on their website. Only 7,200 of that is seated. U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is the early season home stadium for the University of Minnesota baseball team giving them a home venue with a hypothetical max capacity of >60,000. Obviously would never get even 1/10th of that and it would be odd to have a football stadium that hosts a few series a year as the number 1 largest baseball stadium in the world.
It doesn't qualify but here's a bit of trivia. Baseball was played as an exhibition sport at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. At that time the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) held around 120,000 fans and was used for the Opening Crermony. A baseball game was played after the Opening Ceremony with a local team playing USA. Some of the locals were national level cricketers who played elite level baseball in the off season, as they could do back then. It was noted that most fans stayed for the game. While it is not claimed for record numbers it is interesting to note that there were so many at that game.
2:23, Hsinchu Baseball Stadium's Capacity is only a bit more than 10000, you defiantly got Hsinchu Baseball Stadium mixed up with Douliu Baseball Stadium (capacity is 15000). 6:29 It's actully Chencing "Lake" Baseball Stadium
That was the best photo I could find of that place. Might be more than we can see. Or maybe they renovated and expanded. Or they’re lying. I don’t know, never been there. Thanks for watching
@@baseballinternational174there are a number of stadiums in this list that can be applied to as well then. A few on the list looked like their large capacities were made up of significant GA/Lawn/Standing capacity. I think if they are here, Dudy Noble should probably be
I know that Globe Life Park is no longer used by the Texas Rangers, but their seating capacity was over 49000. It should have an honorable mention considering you referenced Expos old stadium.
Like I said, I was reluctant to add Olympic Stadium but decided to since it still hosts an occasional MLB exhibition game and could be used for a new Montreal team in the near future. Globe Life Park is no longer a place for baseball
Fun video! Thanks for making! Couple of omissions (I’m being picky): Oakland Coliseum (still in use) should be there. Also if you include Montreal’s Olympic, then why not the Texas Ranger’s former ballpark, which still exists and has a huge capacity?
Wow! Those are some pretty big misses on my part. Forgot all about Sapporo Dome and it’ll still be used sometimes so it should be included here. This is where those 3 should be: 26. Sapporo Dome 46. Kurashiki Muscat T-47. Sun Marine Miyazaki

I hope this precedes a top 20 favorite stadiums in baseball vid 👀
Isnt rogers centre around 49k capacity?
It used to be. It’s been reduced
Conspiradores de Querétaro Will there first Home series in Pericos de Puebla's Estadio Hermanos Serdán

Wasn't expecting minor league stadiums made the list
8:25 Was looking away for two seconds and thought "Wait...Wrexham? Are Rob and Ryan getting MORE ambitious?"

You actually omitted the biggest park of all (at least, in its tarpless configuration): Oakland Coliseum.

Thanks for the correction. Yeah I got those mixed up. It should be Douliu
11:39 No way that this Stadium has 20k+

Mississippi State's Dudy Noble Field didn't make the list despite having 15,000 in capacity.
I decided not to include here since only its only 7200 seating capacity. The rest is standing room

This has been redeveloped to host soccer and football. It’s no longer a baseball stadium.
Same story with Turner Field

The Coliseum wasn't primarily built for baseball and the Ranger's former stadium was converted to a football stadium.
Sapporo Dome capacity 41,138
kurashiki muscat stadium capacity 30,494
Sun Marine Stadium Miyazaki capacity 30,000
All japan stadium
