Cricket>>>baseball 🙌🙌🙌
Personally I feel baseball would do great in Africa. Since Africans are very community based societies, have large spands of land for playing, and no engrained sports in their culture unlike Europe or Asia
Bro said 28k for brewers were at 30k lol
Best ballparks in SC are Founders Park and Segra Park
148 is proper. Cut down the games & season. MLB is going to BURN people out of the game. THe game is already heading to No 3. Orginally BASEBALL was No. 1 & NFL was No. 2 Now NBA is coming toward knocking MLB to tier 3.
Okay okay hear me out: instead of Bahamas and Virgin Islands as individual nation teams, let's have them join forces under the guise of "compensating power discrepacies" into a West Indies all-star team? That should be interesting since we already have West Indies as a confederated team in cricket, and the Netherlands in the WBC, no less.
wow, thats some good exposure for the asian breeze. Though idk how competetive they will be
Who won this series last year?
Venezuela
They should get more US even Canadian teams involved. Say take a champion from winter ball leagues. That would get more Norte Americanos to care. Right now no one even knows about it. I live in Mexico and its a meh type of thing in Mexico, which goes bonkers when MLB plays down here.
Can you tell us about the possibility of NPB adapting MLB like minor leagues system by merging different independent leagues I know MiLB has some disadvantages, like delayed time in which the player is called to the majors and the possibility of losing a key player for the minor team to the major one in the middle of the season But I want to see this system in japan because the talent pool in japan is huge it will make opportunities for players to show their skills and I also want to see a single professional baseball system covering all japan but I know doing that in NPB will water the league so I want to see it the minors
Wish they’d go pro-rel

The Latinamerican Series was a fun experiment a few years ago. At one point an Argentinian team participated. Panamá, Nicaragua, Colombia, México (Liga Veracruzana), Curazao, Argentina all participated. It was actually the invitation to Serie del Caribe that halted this tournament. As for Japan participating in the caribbean series. I think they are pursuing to expose the Caribbean Series to the 2nd biggest Baseball market in the world. I think is a low risk move TBH. Nothing to lose, a ton of potential gains.
Honorable Mention.......Engle Stadium in Chattanooga, Tennessee
As a NC local, don't count out Raleigh over Charlotte.
excellent video, thank you. I played one season in the EXL (for the Ostrava Arrows) in 2009 after my college career in the US ended. We finished runners up, making it to the finals before being swept by Draci 3-0. The competition in the league is excellent. Many teams had good imports, guys who had played US pro ball (indy or affiliated) or US college ball, and the Czech guys were mostly very good. Not surprised the Czech National team is one of the best in Europe now, those guys can really play and the Czech baseball development is top notch. My experience in the league was incredible: got to play baseball as my job, you get to play on Czech sports TV every now and then, and, owing to your work as a baseball player use whatever you might save to go see other parts of the continent during some breaks/after the season. Was a great league when I played 15 years ago, I'm sure it's only gotten better and will continue to grow. Will not be surprised if in the coming years the EXL becomes a major world league on par w/ Japan, something like a AAAA compared to MLB.
"just some dream A's fans are having" ... what a dick
I appreciate that you made these stats available for viewers to familiarize themselves with how baseball is swinging around the world! I didn't know that many other countries also engage in this great sport that started here in America.👍.
Baseball players used to be national heroes. Today i cannot name 25 guys. I can rattle off the lineup for the 1975 Reds among others like the Dodgers, Pirates, A's, Red Sox. I live in NYC 5 miles South of Yankee Stadium and I cannot name their lineup. I cant even name a SP after Gerrit Cole! Why? I guess the short answer is because I couldnt care less. I used to get emotionally invested in players and teams. Players were perceived as good guys. All american kids. Plus they used to care about not just their performance but winning and losing and the fans who cheered them. I dont feel that connection with ANYONE today. I dont think the players care about the fans. They prove this every time they turn their back on one city and go elsewhere. I understand money matters but with todays salaries does it really? If youre a 25 year old kid and you signed a contract for $110 million at 22 and now you can make $300 million if you stay or $315 if you leave and you leave?? What average fan will believe you cared about them??? The outrageous salaries and the disconnect it creates between fan and player has to be a big part of the death spiral MLB is in. Wether they admit ot or not
Any word on who is on Japan All-Star team yet?
Voting ends tomorrow. We’ll know soon

You deserve more subs
I guess I'm waking up with KBO for the rest of the season
Unless a city has a true love for baseball, MLB shouldn't expand to it. This isn't the 1950s, modern baseball isn't that popular across the country.
Nice video but the strip actually is not the backdrop of Las Vegas Ballpark. It's Red Rock Mountains and the Red Rock Casino also. The strip is a good 10+ miles away
EXPANSION? They need REDUCTION! Take it back to 20 teams. The pitching is so watered down it's pathetic. No DH , NO wildcard BS, no interleague play. If you finish in first. you go to the show. Stop the greed. Make the game mean something again. Hell I'm 73 and my dad could hit 40 homeruns in today's league.
Tulsa, Oklahoma (we have the Drillers AA) (Negro League T-Town Clowns) looooong history!
Its not Charlotte in NC its Raleigh that is better suited for a MLB Team with a bigger support and political backing.
Im glad Canada at least got to 2-2 in their pool. However, too many of our players had to sit out. Hopefully, we can get most of our bullpen next time.
Dude i love your content, please dont stop
I’m from the Inland Empire and you’re right, the only way we’re getting a pro team is if an existing team from L.A. builds a new stadium out here, or if a wacky scenario like this happens. We are just too close to L.A. (about and hour east) to really compete with them, in fact the I.E. more than anything else is just far-east suburbs for L.A. and Orange Counties, so even if we did get a team out here, it would likely not be a whole lot different from having a team in Orange County and considering them as “L.A.”, which is exactly what the Angels are. And the city I would put the team in would be either Ontario or Riverside because they are the most accessible from the freeways.
No way Salt Lake is a good choice. They have the Jazz and now an NHL team in addition to a major college. The city just isn't that large to support all of that weight.
I can't believe you didn't pick Rickwood Field for Alabama. It's an old park built in 1910 and will host a MLB game next week.
West asia baseball cup.. lets see.
I hope Uganda qualifies
Honestly Toledo also makes a good choice for an expansion as their Triple A team consistently is one of the best with attendance while also being in the middle of Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, and a close drive from Fort Wayne, Ann Arbor, and arguable Dayton which is probably why it brings in so many fans for Triple A. In a league where you can’t use the major cities near Toledo, Toledo becomes a great choice.
In Mexico, the oldest stadium of the LMB is the Revolución de Torreón Stadium. It is the home of the Unión Laguna team, it was inaugurated in 1932, its current capacity is for 10,689 spectators and it is the one with the deepest center field at 422 feet. Along the foul lines it measures 333 feet.
I haven't watched this channel in a while. For some reason TH-cam had stopped recommending their new videos to me.
I cant wait for the next wbc ❤
This is perfect! This absolutely needs to happen.
I'd love to see Uganda make the WBC as one of those new teams. No connection to that part of the world, it would just emphasize how global baseball is in the 2020s. I think there should be less teams guaranteed a spot in the WBC personally, have every team that doesn't make it out of pool play qualify.
I hope the qualifiers for the next tournament are more widely broadcasted
I'd love to see some African countries make a push.
Every continent should organize its own qualification tournament, like FIFA confederations in soccer, if they want in a single location, for example in Colombia for teams in America, New Zealand for teams in Oceania, etc. Being a Mexican fan, seriously, I'd like to see our Filipino brothers in a WBC 🇵🇭❤🇲🇽⚾
I thought it was already like this
Will WBC baseball fields have the new bigger bases? Pitch clock, man on 2nd in extras, no shift...all the garbage new rules?
Atleast in the previous two tournaments there have been ghost runners in extra innings
Most likely they will but not exactly like mlb, from what I’ve heard it’s going to be a discussion with KBO, NPB, MLB etc on which rules to implement. Kinda like how international basketball and nba rules are different this will most likely be the case for the wbc vs mlb
I wonder how much MLB is willing to make the WBC like this
This is exactly how it should be. Everyone should get a chance to make it. I'd love to see Ireland break in this way, even if its unlikely
日本のプロ野球にはアフリカにルーツのある選手が何人もいます 特に、WBCのルールならナイジェリア代表でプレーできる選手は何人かいます
Mizutani and Makoto 😊😊😊
😮
That would be AMAZING news if true.
