Great to finally catch up with your journey, was wondering where you’d be by now, super that you’ve seen Huaraz and possibly Caraz and the Huascaran national park. It’s definitely one of my fav places too. Yo mentioned you’re in Bolivia, on your way to Argentina you’ll see Tarija as an option to pass through to Argentina, try to make it. All your efforts will be rewarded again and again once you reach Patagonia. The Chilean side from Puerto Montt headed south is special and then after Ushuaia north up through Argentina Patagonia and cross over to El Calafate. Cheers from Esquel another beautiful area on my way to Bariloche. Sorry to mention my journey on my motorbike I was hoping to give you some tips. As I mentioned before, your efforts amaze me more than my own. Well done 👍🏻

your feedback made my day it would be great to ride the pacific coast HWY 1 again it’s the only place i have riding in United States that we meet a lot of cyclists every day. I rebuilt my Surly Ogre from bottom to top with the best parts after 40,500 kilometers of touring it was worn out. I wish i could do the same with my body I am fighting cancer. My last ride was from California to El Paso Texas on my Masi before things started to go wrong. I don’t want to give up and didn’t rebuild my Surly for nothing i still need to ware it out again. THANKS AGAIN Carla i will keep going!!

Excellent as always. There is just one problem - what the hell are we going to do for our "weekly fix" after you finish the tour? You'll just have to setup some kind of a self help group for us ;-) Oh and as for looks, well as my old mum (RIP) used to say: there is time and a place for everything and this is neither the time nor the place! Self preservation is the name of the game and I expect most people watching this understands that. That said no doubt you will be embarrassed by some of the things you wore when you look back or your future family will ensure you do... My daughter gives me a hard time over some of my old touring picture - "Dad, you look like a hippy, from one of those old movies"

I hate it hahaha no I don’t but it’s waaay too simple.. it was a very cheap one from Decathlon and I regularly see it records less kms than my komoot or other apps - mostly when I’m slow riding up a hill, it does not count that 😅 So pros> the price Cons> simple, inaccurate and ugly haha
