Yeah I knew already about the Darian Gap problematics. And all the points you mentioned are true. But regarding all the missery it leads to I would vote for a highway or/and train connection. But no one is asking us anyway, there are others to make the decision.

@onelove8062 I crashed and broke my arm just south of Vincente guerro and I'm stuck here til the end of the month till my arm heals and haven't made it that far yet. I'm pretty worried about that section though. How slow was the terrain?

Your video makes it seem like only migrants cross the Darien Gap overland. But quite a few cyclists and thru-hikers have crossed the Gap in recent years, it has had its attraction for travelers, too.

Hola!!! Si encuentras un vuelo barato, es posible que sea más barato. Yo no vi ofertas baratas y menos cuando le sumaba la bicicleta. (Además, me gustaba la idea de no volar) A mí me costó 207 dólares: - 20 por entrar en el parque natural - 180 las 2 lanchas y el ferry - 7 por el hostal
