Thank you! Was replacing my rear calipers and wasn't sure about the 2 washers on the line. I looked at the side I hadn't done yet, and put one washer on either side of the line like you did. Your video helped my confidence.

-lube the sliders where the pads meet.
-put anti seize or caliper grease behind the pads to prevent noise
-put anti seize or caliper grease on the caliper slider threads and bolt.
-fill the caliper with brake fluid first
-torque the caliper slider bolts to prevent future seizing.
- put a tube over the brake fluid bleeder valve to prevent very corrosive brake fluid from getting on brake caliper. (If you care about the paint on the caliper.)
Just things I would do differently. Great video
Good tips well this is new caliper so most is greased up and I have some reason not to put grease some places cuz they collect dust but very good tips my friends !!

Thanks for the good instructional video. Do the new caliper pins need to be lubed? I'm installing a remanufactured one from Advance. I'm planning on using non Honda DOT 3 on 2005 CRV.

Do you have to bleed every brake on the car or just the one you replaced the caliper on?

Thanks for the video. my caliper also seized. the pads are still good. is it necessary to replace the bracket as well, when I replace the caliper? if you bought it online, could you please give me the link? if not I will buy from NAPA.
I bough this one at my local parts department and yes get the complet thing with bracket some time the sliding pins are also the problem usually when I buy caliper it all comes with bracket
