I don't think I have ever watched an interview while smiling all the way through before. She is just such a joyous person! I loved her in her role in the Americans, but I really love her as a person. So full of joy. And she is only 17!
I don't believe she is only 17 in this interview. She was born in 1985, and 'The Americans' first aired in 2013, so she would have been 27 or 28 when the series started.

Her face looks just like Scarlett Johansson, but more talented and multi-lingual. I'm amazed she speaks English with a flawless accent.

She has lived in the United States since she was 13, and went to high school in East Meadow, NY, just outside of New York City on Long Island. She also has a Bachelor's degree in English from St. John's University. So there is a good reason she speaks English so well.

+lalalovenickie Well she's half- East Indian. So maybe she learnt it from her Indian dad.
i think he/she said that because in The Americans series, she speaks English with a Russian accent, and I felt weird too listening to this lol
Madhurima Dutta she's mahendru, mahendru's are north indian. Regardless of the name, her facial features are much closer to north Indians.
She's half-Indian and half-Russian. In The Americans, she has a Russian accent. She could pass for either a Russian or a North Indian.
Sweet Joseph and Mary freakin' mother of GOD, she is gorgeous! She is physically attractive, to be sure, but, mainly, she is just infused with the light of joy for what she does.
Being actually perfectly bi-lingual in Russian and American English, what if she played Elizabeth? And have Lev Gorn play Philip?

she's multi lingual: Russian, Hindi, English, Dari (Persian spoken in afghanistan) and German.
For real, the only thing that really bothered me about the show is how extremely obvious it is that Keri and Matthew can't speak a word of Russian

Having known a few of Indian/Russian mix people, I can attest to it.
His questions and her answers seem to be following a different rhythm.
