The layers look great! It basically removed all the damage from your ends you were having. She did an excellent job from the start of the relaxer to the cut!!!❤
A lot of times, we are afraid, including myself, to remove the bad ends especially if it's a lot lol. But it had to be done and my hair definitely feels much better. Thanks for watching 🥰.
I loved the way she spplied the relaxer so carefully. To answer your question, the rollers are rolled in an upward direction because it lays down the roots better this way. Rolling the rollers in a downward direction gives more volume in the roots.
Oh wow, I had no idea, not sure why I did not think of that. What you said makes a lot of sense Aurin 😊. I appreciate it. Thanks for watching and answering this question 💖.
She did a wonderful job! I'm sure the more relaxers that she does; her speed will improve. The cut came out great and she was very meticulous with the relaxer application process!
Your hair looks good. It looks healthy. Relaxed hair usually looks dry and stiff to me. Yours has shine and movement. Keep up whatever healthy hair care practices you are utilizing. 🥰
The recommended time on the instructions isn't set stone for all hair types. Some hair can process fast and some slow. So it's OK if it goes a lil over the recommended time.
Thank you for putting that disclaimer In about cancer and relaxers. First of all the American Cancer Society said it MAY be linked to cancer. There’s nothing definitive. The also say tobacco, processed meats, red meats, deodorants, roundup, asbestos, talc, and many more items MAY be linked to cancer. Your hair is beautiful and I couldn’t imagine you spending your entire day trying do your hair. The cosmetologist did a wonderful job applying the relaxer. Yes I would agree 45 minutes was too long. She really took very good care of your hair to shampoo and deep condition your hair. Beautiful hair 🥰
Enjoyed yr relaxer day.!!! The length of your hair perhaps requires 2 relaxer technicians attending to your hair simultaneously (for the relaxer service).....if probable......that sure will solve the time issue.........your hair is gorgeous.
I love layers so much that I always keep layers in my hair. Yours look really good, she did a great job!! You should try It's a 10 lite, it's very lightweight and never weighs down the hair, at least not for me. I'm glad that you tried her products this time, what did you think? I like to flat iron my hair at least every 2 months so that I can keep track of my ends. I know a lot of relaxed girls don't like using heat but to me it's about the tools you use, products, temp, etc. and I think you can see if damage/split ends are creeping in a lot better compared to blow dried hair that way. It has helped me a lot in seeing if I need to dust or trim. Your relaxer day turned out really good. 💜
Thank you, Kalisha 😊. Does the "It's a 10 Lite" also help with detangling the hair? Using their product did not make a huge difference in the way my hair felt actually. I think next time I'm taking my products with me again 😌 😅. I wouldn't mind flat ironing my hair, but since I've never done it myself, I'm a little scared of causing heat damage. And you're right. The straighter the hair is, the easier spotting the split ins become b4 trimming.
@CassysHairCare Yeah, the lite does the same thing as the original it's just a lot lighter on the hair and doesn't leave a residue. Well, at least you gave the products a try, but in the end, you know best what your hair is gonna respond to. I don't blame you for being scared to try flat ironing cause it can be intimidating. Maybe first try practicing with no heat just to get comfortable holding it, etc. and then start on the lowest heat setting possible, gradually working up to the temp that will straighten your hair to your liking. 💜
@Kalisha J wowww girl 🥰 thank you so much for these tips with the flat iron. It sounds like something I could do. And I will define give the it's a 10 lite a try ❤️.
Beautiful hair ❤I really enjoyed your video. Your beautician is great. Her relaxer application was to a tee. She was so gentle and a plus that she listens and lets you use your own products. Together you will make a perfect team as she gets to work on your hair more. (On the timing - she wasn’t applying it heavy handed so if you like the texture, that will help you both work out the time w/o underprocessed hair, burns or damage). Great video ❤🎉 Tfs. I thought I has subbed when I watched a video recently. Guess not so here I am - subbed)
Amazing video I dont understand why You have chosen to use her hair products, even with the setback you always care for your hair without a doubt. The length you have achieved is marvellous!thanks Cassy
You're absolutely right with the breakage. I had made a video stating what works for one person may not work for another. I'm happy to hear that you listen to your hair. If your new growth cannot be managed after 8 weeks, then so be it, relax them. One way I push through is reducing manipulation of my hair as much as possible through protective styling. I only detangle on wash days.
No worries Janice, I prefer all one length as well, but I had to correct my setbacks at last. Not sure when, but It will get back to full length again. For now, I fully embrace the new hair cut ✂️ 😉.
I love layers. If it were my hair, I would have cut it shorter around my face and done more layers to give it fullness and interest. In the 70s and 80s, most layered cuts displayed a huge dichotomy between the longest and shortest hair. 💇🏾♀️.

The reason Dominicans roll hair in the opposite direction is because it make the roots smoother during the drying process
Thank you for sharing this with me, Abdul 🙏🏾
It’s weird,the back of my hair is 3C:4a,front 4a/b
I believe I have 4b in the front and back is 4C. Weirdest thing for sure lol
