If it were me, staring out across the sea into the horizon with dozens of fresh graves behind me, with no answers as to why I was here or what comes next, or even if I’d ever see home again…this is the music that would capture that emotion perfectly.
The pure nostalgia, along with gearing up to fight Sin. Only to witness the aftermath. The Al Bhed who got killed, along with so many soldiers you had dialogue with. Ready to lay down their lives, assured they'd beat Sin this time. Finding their bodies and hearing Tidus scream out to Jecht, "Don't you run away from me!". This was such a masterpiece of a game.
I feel so blessed that i was born during the time where my dad had his first playthrough of this game, of him first handing me the controller when i was seven, i dont remeber much but i vividly recall watching him beat the blitzball games for me when i was stuck. 10 years on from that time and i'm nearly an adult, the amount of love and nostalgia i feel for this game is indescribable, over the years people around me have changed, I've changed, however this game never fails to be an anchor ever strong in the face of time. Let it be known, if i ever die, i wont be going to heaven, ill be going "to Zanarkand".

Am I crying because the aftermath of Operation Mi'ihen was so devastating? Or is it because I'm mourning for a moment I can't possibly relive? This game, this track and that moment will forever hold a special place in my soul. I know this doesn't play during the actual cutscene the quote is from, but the quote does come to me when listening to this.
I remember as a 12 year old boy, my brothers and I got our very first PS2. Apparently it came FFX as a bundle. My younger brother started playing it, and while watching him play, I fell in love with the characters. I decided to create my own save file, and long story short, these were some of the best moments of my life. As a 12 year old kid, I never would have thought, that id be sitting her at 12am in the morning, missing these precious times. Even reliving and playing FFX now, doesn’t satisfy me. I miss our youth….I miss how life was simple back then. Most of us miss the old days. But we dont miss being a kid again, we just miss the youth of life back then. Our parents were all young, our friends were young, our minds were so innocent. And any small gift given to us, we had this feeling that most of us have forgotten…I miss these times so much…..:( ty so much for sharing this video.

Yeah it's just not the same anymore. I don't feel excited for new games, new movies, new music, nothing anymore. It's all remake after remake in this era. Dead. Money over passion rather than passion over money. Yeah get me a time machine pls, this isn't doing it for me. I wouldn't mind a remake of this with todays graphics, or would that ruin it? Might be better to leave it, maybe it's perfect as it is.
I miss my grandmother. She passed away this year. If not for her and her enthusiasm, sheer love for all the colorful and fun things in life, I would not have grown into the man I am today or have appreciation for all the things that brighten my life up. I probably wouldn't be here at all, because even when I was at my worst struggling with suicidal depression even to this day, I think about her and what she would have wanted for me. An early death isn't it. She would have wanted me to be strong and chase happiness, fight for it as hard as I could and win. That's all she ever really projected out at the world: Pure, unfiltered optimism and joy. I miss you Grammy. Things just aren't the same without you. Thank you for teaching me not to be embarrassed by the little things in life and to look past them for the things that make them special. Things like the Tidus laughing scene, or the awkward dialogue. Thank you for teaching me to give people the benefit of the doubt and to see things through to the end. Otherwise I wouldn't be here, in this graveyard, listening to this track thinking about all the beautiful moments in my life. I owe you so much and can give back so little.
