I only ever got to the first pyramid part with scooby. As I was watching this I kept thinking “I never passed this level” but then as you progressed I kept remembering that I did. The amount of joy I felt from watching this was incredible

The theme of the final boss fight against the Phantom Virus gives me the biggest PTSD ever, absolutely terrified as a kid. I knew that if I died I had to restart like 4 hours lmao, had no memory cards as a kid

I played this game so many times it's that nostalgic. How I discovered this game was when I had a Cub Scout meeting in one of my friend's house and I saw his brother play it even though I was not allowed to play it due to Cub Scout activities. I told my mom about wanting it and she did, but I was chewed out for watching it and not doing the activities assigned.

I liked this game. Caddicarus was pretty critical. As far as licensed platformers on PS1 fare, this game is decent. I am of course biased as I have a passing interest in Scooby Doo (earlier series) and this game pays homage to those.
the game is actually not bad, it has some flaws tough, to me the only problems are the controls(specially on that vehicle from level 3-2 and the skate in 5-1) and the inconsistent animation(I feel like the animation dont match the character speed when walking and that makes me confusing in platforming section a.k.a rome) but the soundtrack is great it really captures the scooby-doo cartoon vibe, graphics are ok outside cutscenes but are still not bad, and level design are great but they could have put some exploration and hidden secrets to add replay value, but still i love this game, one of the best platformers on the ps1.
