Quite fun, but terribly short.
There is a time bonus in all the levels, which is not that easy to reach. If you beat the time you get 200 coins. But it would look more like a speedrun and I wanted to get most of the coins in the level I could, so I almost never reached that bonus. Also I unlocked one picture in the gallery (with 2000 coins). -

This game always had me at the edge of the seat, my heart used to beat fast as hell while I was running from chasers. Still, it was fun regardless.

Yeah me too, i was always like "WAAAAH SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!" And then when i hide i wait until the chaser was in his place so could bring things so i won.t have to worry (sorry for the english btw)

This game was so hard when I was a kid.
Well the 1st 3rd lvl was no problem when i was a kid but when i reached the zombies and vampire place it was nearly IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO BEAT IT even today i cant even beat it its so hard that frickin lvl
@@aieranimations9810 It pales in comparison to Ganster level which was a nightmare excluding final boss. I beat the game only once(final boss) and as fun as satysfying it was I was too mentally exhausted to play the game ever again.

The Nostalgia.... I have spent hours upon hours to beat this game when i was a kid. The part where you try to beat giant plant and egypt were hardest for me. I was a little impatient kid
They really need to make remastered version of this game.

I remember how i was always at the verge of tears when Panther cried at 1:57, like i genuinely felt sorry for him that his uncle died as a 6yr old kid.

I remember this to some extent myself.
The anxiety when you ran from the chasers
I didn't have horror games in childhood, but this one had the most suspense. The chases, the tickling bombs, feeling really afraid to lose health from enemies and obstacles... Plus, the themes of levels were somewhat creepy, especially Egypt (because I stuck on the plant level for a long time, and therefore completed the Egypt a lot of times, with it's tombs, echoing mummies, chasing Anubis - and in my version there wasn't music). And even the construction set was somewhat creepy - with it's humming wreaking balls and a clanking tube - that even years later, even not thinking about that game, I had dreams about somewhat existential construction-work platform games. It seems that the ship in the beggining is the only chase-level that is almost not creepy at all (well, maybe just the begging in the bilge sets the tone a bit). Yeah, and the stone-age was not very creepy, but if I had music, it wouldn't be that. X) And the first and a bit last boss was scary as well (dinosaur was unfairly easy for me).
Aah, having heart attacks while being chased, I remember this!

I'm writing this at 21 years old. I vividly remember our old house computer on which I played this game and the day the computer was thrown away due to it becoming as slow as a snail. Only the desk remains and on it sits my third and current laptop. To top it off, *I haven't played the game since losing the house computer and I never finished it.*
Only *now in 2024* do I discover that I'm 2 months older than this game.
I used to play this master piece when I was a kid.

the one thing that this game handled like no other, was the communication. English is my third language and when i was 6 i couldnt understand a single word of english, i mean, i knew the very basics like start, load game, new game, but if it was a whole phrase, i couldnt read it. When i saw the buttler saying " no no no no no " and that chicken, so i knew i had to get the chicken and he would me let me advance the game. If that was written in something like an objetctive, i probally was going to guess after a good half hour trying to understand what the game was telling me what to do
