Stan Lee made my childhood to super awesome and lovely from 90s to until ugly 2010s. my superhero Spider-Man and my superhero of Marvel and other series will not be same without our hero Stan Lee. I am impossible not accept his gone, he was part of my childhood and everything to me. I was always wish to meet him. I hope everyone to understand me and appreciate me.
My earliest memories are of playing this game and hearing Stan the man narrate this epic story’s introduction. My whole life I’ve known Stan Lee and thanks to him i know Spidey. Thank You Stan Lee.

spiderman's model is simply outstanding, of course its quite simple, and they dont have to draw a face actually, but its phantastic.. On the other hand i never had problems with those models except for their drawn faces.. omg SO UGLY.. black cat is supposed to be gorgeous and she was drawn like an old witch xD thats why spiderman's model is not only the best but also well done.. and lizzards too!

It was 2003 and I was sitting with a friend of mine when I was 6 years old and we were at my grandparents home. I was playing either crash bandecoot or tekken 3 when all of the sudden my mom came home and she had a surprise for me, she reached for her bag and she pulled out a CD and that CD was this game, man I miss those times.

This game had it all. Great soundtrack, extremely diverse level design, epic bosses, good story, fun gameplay. So simple yet so amazing. Nothing like today's bland and generic games with barely any originality. Still remember fighting lizards on a train and then running away from that helicopter.

This game is a treasure from start to finish, really one of the best games on the PS1. It was fun, the controls were great, the music was awesome and all the little in-jokes made the older kids and adults chuckle. For instance, when Spidey is moving through the first helicopter level there's billboards for "Porkin' Donuts" which is made to look like the Dunkin Donuts logo. But the tagline says NYC's Finest - they were clearly poking fun at cops. Also, a lot of the graffiti pieces are actually taken from real graff pieces done by Seen and I think Zephyr, two famous NYC graff artists. A masterpiece for it's time, I would still play it if I had it.

PS1 has a MASSIVE library of some very creative and way ahead of their time games. I'm discovering so many new to me games after getting a psclassic modded. The more I discover the more underappreciated the PS1 is. Still an awesome console that holds up even 25 years later.

Debatable. Alot actually could depending on how you define "aging well". People now days are so spoiled on graphics and 60 hour games that they lose sight of what games used to be and sure not all of them were great but there are a lot more then people think but they either declare they were great and in the same breathe ask for a remaster or remake or claim that it looks old and refuse to touch it. So most games actually aged well its jsut that most people evolved into tech snobs.
There are quite a few that have "aged" completely fine with mechanics. Graphics don't matter in the slightest, mainly from the PS1 though. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, MGS, Spider-Man, Tenchu, Nightmare Creatures, Twisted Metal 2, Tekken 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Dino Crisis, And so many more. A pretty great era for games

Try also Diablo, NFS III Hot Pursuit and Star Wars Dark Forces. Spider-Man plays on my phone in around 30 fps (1050MHz, single-core |Adreno 200 Enhanced|400MB of RAM) The games mentioned above plays in around 60 fps. Diablo have an in-built speed mode that speeds up the game from 30-40 fps to 40-60 fps. All games without sound. Now I will check Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and I will let you know how it works :D What's your phone ?

I still own this game and this actually introduced me the iconic superhero. To this day, I still think this is THE best Spider-Man game ever. Some years back, I used to play Kid Mode for fun, and then when I suddenly tried Hard without special suits...it actually WAS hard (especially fighting Scorpion, Venom, and Carnage)! Even Normal was tricky. But I did done it with patience, and it was worth it, unlocking the ultimate suit Captain Universe. Even then, I still perfer the Black Suit, just because Spidey looks cool in it. Such nostalgia. And, those Stan Lee voice parts, RIP that great man... :(
Its an awesome little gem . Some things are outdated but its pretty cool over all . I liked the edgy yet stylistic approach in this game which is somehow appealing . I wish the ps4 spiderman game was more stylisticly like the ps1 games and a more gritty tone in the story that could benefit the game even more . Still an awesome game.

I mean, there are games in which the final level is to fight the main villain and usually, he would be very powerful, challenging the player. This time, when I played the game, it would make sense for it to not involve any fighting. That is what makes it extraordinary. It creates a challenge by having the player not do something he was doing the whole time which was fighting and that it is the classic action video maneuver: moving as fast as possible. That is why I would never ever forget this game.

Got this game for my birthday. My cousin's and friends slept over and we stayed up all night playing it. Will never forget everyone screaming their ass off as I was slinging through the vents escaping from monster ock in the final level. Such a great game

PS1 has a MASSIVE library of some very creative and way ahead of their time games.
I'm discovering so many new to me games after getting a psclassic modded. The more I discover the more underappreciated the PS1 is. Still an awesome console that holds up even 25 years later.
And it had the weakest hardware of it's lineup (n64/Saturn) one of the greatest consoles ever made

This game aged surprisingly well. Not many games from that era could claim that.
Debatable. Alot actually could depending on how you define "aging well". People now days are so spoiled on graphics and 60 hour games that they lose sight of what games used to be and sure not all of them were great but there are a lot more then people think but they either declare they were great and in the same breathe ask for a remaster or remake or claim that it looks old and refuse to touch it. So most games actually aged well its jsut that most people evolved into tech snobs.
There are quite a few that have "aged" completely fine with mechanics. Graphics don't matter in the slightest, mainly from the PS1 though.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, MGS, Spider-Man, Tenchu, Nightmare Creatures, Twisted Metal 2, Tekken 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Dino Crisis, And so many more. A pretty great era for games

Man, I almost forgot how fun this game was! This was my favorite game when I was a kid! I remember how my cousin and I would play this game all day long during the weekends (we didn't have memory cards), and often quit on the Monster Ock final level LOL! *sigh* I miss my childhood.
You can play the game on Android using emulator xPSXe or FPse (Google Play paid apps or free in Internet and game ISO also on Internet. You just need BIOS file - You can download it through the app :) At least you can in xPSXe, I haven't tried the second app) Cheers :D

Try also Diablo, NFS III Hot Pursuit and Star Wars Dark Forces. Spider-Man plays on my phone in around 30 fps (1050MHz, single-core |Adreno 200 Enhanced|400MB of RAM) The games mentioned above plays in around 60 fps. Diablo have an in-built speed mode that speeds up the game from 30-40 fps to 40-60 fps. All games without sound. Now I will check Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and I will let you know how it works :D What's your phone ?

They couldnt pack whole buildings into the game due to limitations so they made this gaseous atmosphere. Very creative :)

I still own this game and this actually introduced me the iconic superhero. To this day, I still think this is THE best Spider-Man game ever. Some years back, I used to play Kid Mode for fun, and then when I suddenly tried Hard without special suits...it actually WAS hard (especially fighting Scorpion, Venom, and Carnage)! Even Normal was tricky. But I did done it with patience, and it was worth it, unlocking the ultimate suit Captain Universe. Even then, I still perfer the Black Suit, just because Spidey looks cool in it. Such nostalgia.
And, those Stan Lee voice parts, RIP that great man... :(
Its an awesome little gem . Some things are outdated but its pretty cool over all . I liked the edgy yet stylistic approach in this game which is somehow appealing . I wish the ps4 spiderman game was more stylisticly like the ps1 games and a more gritty tone in the story that could benefit the game even more . Still an awesome game.

+GoldenBear92 True. It does seem very predictable if the final boss in the game is someone you could fight. I mean, there are games in which the final level is to fight the main villain and usually, he would be very powerful, challenging the player. This time, when I played the game, it would make sense for it to not involve any fighting. That is what makes it extraordinary. It creates a challenge by having the player not do something he was doing the whole time which was fighting and that it is the classic action video maneuver: moving as fast as possible. That is why I would never ever forget this game.

Got this game for my birthday. My cousin's and friends slept over and we stayed up all night playing it. Will never forget everyone screaming their ass off as I was slinging through the vents escaping from monster ock in the final level. Such a great game

+Danny Soto I couldn't get all the comics and costumes. After beating it 3 times I wrote EEL NATS on cheat menu and got everything.
