You actually can't offense someone just because he/ she can't speak his mother tongue..and secondly he said that he's from pondicherry so of course hindi isn't his first language and that's the reason why we have 22 scheduled languages in our Constitution and of course it doesn't promotes any language in particular. .. That's why we don't have a national language.. So I just hope you got it and you won't do the same thing to someone in future too..
