First of all I just want to say thank you from the BOTTOM of my heart for blowing this video up, I wouldn't have a future in this line of work without your support. BUT I just wanted to make this disclaimer for those who are planning to use this study method to cram 1 day before their big exams. There's TWO parts of the work equation, VOLUME and LEVERAGE, even though this study method helps with leverage, if you think studying 30 minutes is going to make up for your final exam.... U might be cooked. - Daniel
I got 8 or 9 days for my O-level Biology Cambridge exam with 19 chapters so I will only learn the important subtopics and leave the remaining topics which are not that much important, past papers and follow marking scheme. Guys, please pray for me. I am just a teenager from Pakistan and my parents never force me to get Top grades at every grade in every school but still hard work and outcome will depend on how much a person put his/her brain into studying effectively or basically smartly.
Tip: there's a studying method called the "80%" method. Basically just review the things you struggle or are harder more, than the things you are a master at. It saves you time and gets your grades up, instead of redoing the things you already know and mastered. You can focus or the things that are harder. (like the comment so I know it was helpful to you😭)
I feel like im on track, i sleep 8 hours, workout, eat healthy, my attention span is way better now that two months ago but sometimes i feel demotivated, so these types of videos just help me get on track again
@@Pbcvl i divide work into chunks which i try to complete in a day no matter what. I try learning in class so studying at home becomes revision. I use my break time to cook meals and workout! Hope that helps!
@@itzme674 In my country there is just no way for anyone to actually pass just with school. Literally everyone does classes outside of school so we got less free time
the most helpful tip i've gotten so far is from my maths teacher it's basically to do these "one page summaries" you take a subject or unit and break it down into the small points you need to know. do this for every unit, so you know exactly what you need to study (e.g. cells, but that's vague af. break it down - do you need to know the structure? what it is? the types?) only using a page or less tricks your brain into thinking you don't need to revise much :)
Thank you so much. I have exam tommorow and for the past three days I wasn't able to cover every subject I had because I had difficult time understanding my major subjects. So thank you! This video is a sign from God above!
My exam is right around the corner, and I only have 1 week to study for 10 subjects! I'll definitely try out your method. Thanks for the video, and good luck with your channel!
Thanks I appreciate that a lot, remember to do a bit everyday, it’s gonna be a lot harder to lock in if your cramming everything in the last few days 👍
unconsciously, I did the calculation test method for my term 1 exam, which had physical chemistry. I didn't solve a lot of questions, but the ones i did very hard questions and I was able to ace that exam. Then for this term, I just did questions but very easy ones and my result was bad. Though I think i would have to follow the theory test method for organic chemistry. I am going to have a combined test for physics, chemistry, maths soon, like in a week. Thank you!!
This is the type of videos i want on TH-cam!! This was so helpful!! I actually came with focus here to get to know how to study! But ended up crushing upon him! I was like 'is this the guy explaining me!!!' 😂 He's not only cute but helpful guy. We need to save him!>>

I was confuce how one term at a time (flashcards) are not overwhelming cus it actually destroy my self a steem everytime i get things wrong. this is super effective ! the maths/physics/chemistry study method is actually genius, because althought i'm great at math, i get really burnt out trying to solve problems. i'm definitely gonna use these and let you know in a week or two how it's helped (especially cause we've got two-three tests everyday, and it's a little difficult keeping up)

I clicked this video because I thought I spent too much time studying ineffectively. I have 2 questions that I thought of when watching the video: 1. I use Quizlet to make flashcards for chemistry and biology. But if I have a test containing multiple topics coming up, it would mean I need to review 100s of flashcards. How would I fit that into 30 minutes? 2. For theory subjects, should I also implement time to practice exam questions as well? If so, how would I organise the study sessions then?
1. It always depends on the content you use, but 100 terms is completely possible to fit in 30 minutes. As long as you have been paying attention in class, you should already know a good chunk of those terms. Quizlet's rapid feedback loop should get you well-versed with those extra 50 terms pretty quickly. (when I say 30 minutes it doesn't count the time you take to put in the terms) 2. Practice questions for theory exams usually require explaining why certain things are the way they are. Finding questions and answering them on paper can be a good way of studying, but if you are looking for something faster, I would suggest explaining to a friend and talking to yourself (which I do, lol). I find it a lot easier to understand theory concepts if I explain it to myself instead of using pen and paper although the choice is yours. Hope this helps, Daniel Zhu

I had used the method of doing 2 hardest problem from a single concept from math book before seeing it here, a quick tip from someone who has used this technique for 3 years, don't just do this during the exam time like I did, yeah you will get good marks but you would end up forgetting it after the exam is over so, revise a chapter each weekend for like 1-2 hours, note: learn from ground to up, doing problems and understanding everything from core is different, once you understand everything including how the formulae and concept came to be you can do those questions after years relatively better than most of the people, why do this?
