bro is like a big brother sitting and give advice, we love it
Aww thank you so much! I dont actually have any siblings so Im very touched!
@@jet.james.61 I have a question about the part where you said we should just focus on past papers and questions that our teachers give but my teachers usually don't give us even in exam times and past papers doesn't really work for me as I am in grade 7 so what should I do?
@@mynameisbananahii9147i also don’t get past papers but I take questions from each topic that is coming out to see what topic I have to focus more on and then I mark them, and do more questions about that specific topic…hope it helps u!
@@ArfaNajam-x6g Thank you so much! But do you have a specific website that you take from or just randomly? Because my books don't really have lots of questions?
@@ArfaNajam-x6g do you have any recommended websites
1. Attempt question without any help
2. If you got it right compare with solution given
3. If you got it wrong the repeat with solution
4. Come bake in a few days and repeat the question
5. If you got it right then well and good but if wrong the repeat the process
Finally someone who could give good advises for maths and practical subjects 😭😭😭
Glad I could help! Ill definitely be releasing more videos relating to these types of courses! 🫶🏼
Yessss this channel is so underratedddd😭

Advice is an uncountable noun so we use some advice
thank you for the tips!! actually its the same with me, i dont take breaks too much instead i finish the work and reward myself a break like an hour or so and continue studying after feeling the guilt of taking break for so long 😂
No problem! And exactly! It feels so much nicer just to relax for an hour or so rather than taking 15 minute breaks 😅. Plus you feel like you got a lot more done during longer study sessions!
I heard that giving reward is not good, because you will get to point when this reward will not satisfy you. I believe that studying is reward, thats why i use quizlet and studying is a game not a work
I am an indian student and my subjects are physics chemistry math and computer and the piece of advice you gave just now was so useful I have my finals from feb and this 20/80 rule made me realise where I was going wrong so thank you so much and also thanks for that 5 step question solving advice Ill try to use it ❤️
Thank you so much!! Ill also be making a video on how to study math subjects like that too!
@@jet.james.61will be waiting for the video
same here! I take PCB though. struggling with Physics and Chemistry, especially Physics!
same here, I'm a fellow PCM mate!
PCM with CS :)
I studied passively for years before figuring out it doesn’t really do much! Now that I study actively it’s a lot easier to retain information.
Definitely a much better technique!! I'm glad its working out
How do you study actively pls
and ofcourse this video pops up after I'm done with my SAT's 😭
and btw: amazing! I've never seem something very straightforward, realistic but being super honest about it at the same time, you're very underrated bro. I've been taking notes my entire highschool life and I just now realised how ineffective it was (yes, i was in denial about it.) and my brother kept on telling me all i needed to do is to just answer the practice questions because they were the most effective ones, and I just kept ignoring it until I realised how effective it was (i tried it)
shout out to my big bro, how could I not listen to him? he's literally done in college 😭, thank you so much too!
Definitely the notes take up so much time!! I hope your SAT's went well! :)
Please update with how much you got

This is genuinely one of the best videos I’ve watched in terms of studying advice and I think I’ve consumed over 100 hours on this topic and read 3 books plus the fact that you explained it for science and maths which is what I do is amazing
this video is the most realistic one i've watched, the tip on how to study math and takes note on it is really helpful !! i'm studying math for an hour or two today for our test so i'll definitely try it out !!! the other tips were also really, really helpful for a junior highschool student like me !!
I'm glad that you found them helpful! I hope your studies go well!
Finally someone who gives real advice....this is really underrated
Aww thank you so much for the support! Thanks for watching :)
The most realistic and helpful video i have seen literally Better than most study youtubers that only focus on aesthetic subscribing right now 🎉
Aww thank you so much!
And yes completely agree, it's honestly so time consuming trying to take pretty notes and it often makes people feel discouraged if your notes are unbelievably pretty or if your life is super aesthetic which I why I try to stay away from those types of things!
Absolutely appreciate everything about your channel. The fact that you give attention to every comment and heart them is so sweet of you and shows you care about the viewers. Keep going!
Aw thank you thats so nice to hear! I appreciate the support! ❤
By the way; The techniques, which he mentioned, is called 1. Space repetition 2. the Feynmin Techique and 3. Active Recall
The most helpful advice!! Straightforward and and detailed !! :D please continue making study videos
Thank you!!! Im glad you liked it! Ill definitely make more studying content! :)
Thanks to your video, I was able to understand what mistake I was making in studying . And from now on I will use your 80/20 study technique.
Thats great! I'm happy I was able to help! Let me know how it goes! :)
Omg he literally so relatable 😭😭😭❤️❤️🫶🏻
Aww thank you! I'm glad! ❤❤
my school physics exam asks 35-45% derivations, 5% theory, 50-60% numericals. Memorizing derivations is yhe most annoying part tbh.
Oh wow that is annoying, derivations is kind of difficult. Usually with derivations I find the best way to study them is by actively relating them to other equations. So if you have a main equation you tend to remember the other parts that come along with the derivation
The time you realise aesthetic notes r of no use if you don't understand-
thank u sm for properly explaining the 80/20 rule i was so confused on how to apply it but u explained it rlly well
Getting recommended this the night before my final exam is a real life saver 😂
Amazing
I like it when u said something like ,break isn't really necessarily well i also believe that !! Ohh and also that not taking note part was alsoo so relatable ur right !
Glad someone acknowledge it❤ new sub
Ive watched hundreds of study tips videos but at the end of each video i get a feeling that It's not what i was excpecting them to say like theres no way that would be Actually effective but oh finally you literally just said all i needed to hear especially about the practice questions, breaks everything haha thanksss ❤
I'm so glad this video helped!!! Best of luck with your tests, exams and studies! ❤
Omg, finally someone I can relate to! Especially since i really love taking notes which is I almost spent the entire day taking/making notes rather than 'studying'. So, thank you for this! I can also relate to the part where I don't take breaks when studying hahahah
Getting work done at once and practicing the questions and finding the significant and important topics and focuses mainly on them (from classes ,past years question etc etc )
This video means a lot.thanks bro.now I'm understanding what i should do for 80/20 rules.thank you so much.i was stuck in my 20%marks.🎉
Thank you!! I'm glad I could help I hope your future results go well! 🎉💫
thank you !! i appreciate ur advice as someone who also has a short attention span ! I like how you didn't just take ur ipad or laptop and open notion ...
Lol I definitely agree with you for the breaks, I don't take them too much bc I have a really short attention span and I will end up procrastinating for the rest of the day.
Thats so true hahaha. I usually play games during my break and I end up playing way more than I should
I'm crying, I studied all day and didn't even hold a gadget for a even a sec then I tried taking multiple tests about what I studied and I kept failing. Now I only have 1 day left 'til the exam and I feel like I know nothing.
Thank you so much for all your advices and it definitely gonna help me. The 'break' part was so relatable for me.
No problem!! Thank you for support and I'm glad my advice was helpful!
idk how to study, so I came here to try and learn how

how to study SMART for EXAMS | test/exam tips
th-cam.com/video/SQqdNvc3gu0/w-d-xo.html
1. stop taking notes. do practice q. follow 80-20 rule in study.
2. jot instead of note
3. rinse and repeat
4. take break when necessary. but keep in mind about your attention span. dont take too much break or too long break. do deep work
5. shuffle your study subjects but put constant daily effort
Thank you so much for posting this 😊I was struggling a lot with my studies but your study tips actually worked for me ❤ Thnx! keep uploading these type of videos so that students like me can get some help.

Thank you for this video i found it really helpful. I watched this video 2 weeks from now to see the results, and after 2 weeks I feel really good and relieved. I finished my tasks on time. thank u very much ❤❤
omg finally someone who understands my idea of breaks. ive always been told to take more breaks but honestly it ruins my momentum.
Exactlyy! Even if I study for 30 mins and take a break, after I come back from a break I just feel lazy haha
@@jet.james.61 ur so real for that
i dont have any major exams or assessments coming up but i genuinely had a slight fear that my grades would be dropping this year. after watching your video it made me realise how i had a few errors to change in the way i study. just the way you explained why you do such and such techniques was so informative, well-explained, and relatable. like thank god you don’t say fat words and over-explain the benefits of a technique. i understood so much from you thank u so much (i also have a short attention span but i feel like if you ever made a 1 hour video on a subject, i’d watch it fs 😂)
This is the most realistic video I’ve ever seen, I used to see many videos where most of them are majoring in medical majors, and I’m on the other side an actuary😅
One thing I would appreciate your feedback in, the part where you suggested to scarifies the notes, I admit I spend long periods writing and re-reading my notes without practicing test questions, mainly because I’m afraid to do so, another reason is that I’m not sure when it’s necessary to write a note and when it’s not, can you help me identify that?
Thank you in advance!
Well usually when a teacher over explains certain parts its a pretty big indicator that it might be a major piece of content.
And when they just read over its most likely not something you need to know. The best way to figure out what parts of your notes have been important and what parts that have been unimportant is by doing practice questions and seeing what parts of your notes relate to the questions the most.
Thank you for saying that one details about the topic of break as I always wonder why I can't continue working .
So underrated. I love the way u edit, your video is pleasing to watch. You deserve more followers!
This is the video I’ve looking for, I’ve had to take a break from taking breaks🥺❣️, support from the 🇵🇭
Glad I could help!! And yes I also need a break from breaks haha, thank you for your support! ❣️🇦🇺
1000% relate to the breaks part :’) I’m the same in that sense haha. Loved the video! It felt really authentic and informative 😌
I am so thankful for stumbling upon this video , the video is so underrated . Thank you ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much
@@jet.james.61 the fact u r replying to all of us is also underrated 🤍🪄🪄🪄
I saw my feed recommending ur video and seriously boyyyyy ..finally someone who does the work without taking break because of distractions! Apart from the youtubers who say take a break and get back. U were more realistic and someone I can relate to !! Thank youu for ur tipss. U helped meee
Thank you so much for the support! Im happy to hear that you find it relatable and helpful! 🥰
I am preparing for my ACCA p level exams, and weirdly enough, this is the note taking technique that I applied this session and this is more effective than it sounds! I didn’t study the texts that much, I practiced, let myself feel dumb and note the parts that were tough and revise repeatedly. And about breaks I agree too, I take longer breaks like 30-40mins in 4-5hrs, that too with a plan or agenda or else I'd be just wandering everywhere instead of studying. I am more focused once I'm more settled in what I'm doing.
Thank you so much for the advice! It helped me a lot! You deserve way more recognition.
Aww thank you for watching! I'm glad my advice helped!
13 days later I'll be taking my univesity entrance exam. Even today, i am tend to take long notes (i dont even re-read them sometimes) i realized that it is just waste of time. Now i will try your technique and study with practice questions. I'll share my results after the exam.
Pray before you write your exam❤

BHAI is an emotion bhaiii
I'm a 3rd year Chemical Engineering student, I gasped when I saw you solving for a mass transfer subject. I'm currently taking Heat and Mass Transfer this semester and I find the subject quite challenging. I really love your take about the note taking thing. Most of my study time is consumed by making pretty notes that I'm not able to practice solving the entire topic coverage.
Omgg same I'm also a 3rd Year. But yeah, note taking is something I don't spend too much time on anymore... Unfortunately Semester 1 of my 1st year was the only time I could spend taking notes, other than that it's almost impossible to be up to date with the knowledge if you want to take pretty notes :(
man i thought i would have failed my exams but thanks to you i was able to pass my exams!
Thank you so much for the advice.
Also I’ve to memorize 6 months worth of work in a month. Had health issues for all so couldn’t do side by side. Idk. I feel like I could do it. Cause I’m a gifted memorizer (at least what I think as I memorized 14 chapters a day till year 10th. But now it’s year 12 and I’m nervous).BUT then the pessimistic me comes in front of me and drives me insane and I end up in my bed just worrying.
VENT AHEAD
Also. I noticed that the whole year my friends used to talk to me. Tho I try my hardest to listen to the teacher but they wouldn’t stfu. And worst part they did/ do all those things again in coachings. And as I don’t take any I suffer. Nowadays they say “oh I/we just slept all day and did not prepare the test and I was having fever so after hearing that I was like: oh I should not worry as we are in this together, but during the test they end up doing questions and then say oh I just read a bit in break, (like bitch you were talking to me and didn’t let me study.). Sadly I fall in the trap every time. So called best friends.
Saddest part: I was the class topper. (99%in year10). And then I switched schools. Now they are doing better than me. ( my “BEST friend “ got 77% in 10th) and I feel like , either she pulled me down to her level or she’s trying to climb up my shoulders. Also if I try to change my seat(I did twice). She literally told everyone she got depressed and her twin sis begged me for not changing my seat.
I’m stuck. Also I moved out so cherry on top. 😭
I'm so sorry to hear all of that :(
Unfortunately if you're academically gifted, or gifted in any other aspect, with a high school mindset a lot of peers around you are going to try to drag you down, or act jealous, or talk crap behind your back.
I will get a bit more personal in the future of my channel but for now I can say that high school friends, you'll find are not worth spending your time with. After all of this is over, and you guys go off to university/college, you'll eventually forget about each other. Of course you can find really great people through high school, but personally I found there was always some sort of competition or pettiness involved if you're at the top.
But in university the story is the complete opposite, people are happy to pass. And if you get a great grade, you'll find that a lot will congratulate you, and it'll just be a more overall positive experience!
I look forward to seeing you in future videos! You seem like an amazing person! :)

Right?! 🤣
As someone who also takes longer breaks than he should this is so relatable. I just put my phone and everything far away for like 3 hours when I have to study that long
This was so simple and easy to understand! All the tips I've seen were so complicated and I didn't even watch those people's videos completely. Yours was a keeper!
OMG you're so humble..I see u replying some comments also liking every single comment on this video,i hope ur channel get bigger
Summary **Don't care how just know the formulas and practice solving question using them **
1. Solve questions without answers / help
2. Compare with the answers.. If you're wrong learn it.
3. Repeat the process before before exam days. If your solves are wrong again analyse the type from other answers or seek help to your home tutor.
Complete the task / the whole process, then take break
out of all study motivational videos...this is the best one!!
The break part is way too relatable.
what works for me is the 25 minute study and 5 minute break because I get so bored then stop studying and I can't pull myself to get back there and study but 25 minutes of study 5 minute break is what works for me but it's cool too to learn of other ways to study I study with a lot of memorizing and repeating out loud and I don't take notes because it's not affective for me but instead I put for each thing a question and it really helps understanding what I am studying, anyway it's a helpful video thanks
I'm surprised that I could relate to every single thing you spoke about😅.This is my first video of yours and I subscribed immediately!😊

I love math but I'm losing the track because there're so many lessons and a very short time left ,and i didn't know how I can control that, bringing into that that I'm a "short attention span" person, I hardly force myself study and hardly to stay focusing on whatever the hell I'm studying.
Anyway I'm gonna try this and thanks for the video, it motivated me because I related to this so much especially that notes thing is so true I was just doing it cause people said so, not because it was my way for studying!!
Soooo I think it's exactly what I needed to hear and do

To anyone reading this comment this man described it it too perfectly ,it applies so perfectly I was a student spending hours on study sessions as per my teachers would always advice me to study for around 8 hrs a day to score A (and being obedient I did ) then moving to my as lvl while doing self study I use to literally study around to 2 to 3 hrs a day nearly weeks before my cies and trust me aced my exams with as and bs WITH SELF STUDY and in subject like a lvl maths I scored a good grade (but do practice tho ) it’s just how u study smart and there is no point to stress out pro tip+every one has a diff style ur probably more smarter than those students studying for hours and hours and could do it in just a lil time
tysm, you deserve more recognition
No problem! thank you for the support!!
Thank youu, I watch a lot of other study channels, but I major in chemistry, so their tips don't ever apply to me, I just basically watched them to get in the study mindset. But here, on the other hand, I can finally use some of it to get better results!
This video really put me back in my place😭 im legit the kind of person that would rather spend her time in learning about Newton's life growing up his family and parents rather than the actual equations ffs. I'm ALSO not a STEMS student the last time i studied physics was in 10th grade and that's exactly what i did: spend time making meaningless beautifully written notes and not enough practical practice. And that's why i did so bad.
I'm currently an advanced accountancy student which is also a practical subject. Thanks for this video, i got to know what i was doing wrong. I'm just so dumb.
My god…thank you. I am feeling understood right now 😳🥺💙
So relatable like for example me if l take a 15 min break l will end up extending it so l would rather study longer then spend the rest of the day doing whatever
This guy is me 😭 me taking breaks makes me forget i was studying in the first place 😂

This really makes me sad and drains my will to study. But thanks for your tips....I will try these....if you have any other tips to get over 80% pls tell me.....
Wow that is a lot!
If you want to be at the top of the class you will have to go that extra mile with your studies. This doesn't mean you need to study more, you just need to find an effective and efficient way to study. Disciplining yourself is definitely very important! If you want to retain information be sure to constantly apply it into questions, even if you don't have to try to answer these questions: Why am I answering this? How does it relate to my other content? And what is the importance of the value/answer?
Brother,i do the same things until now and it was really good thing.
I got good marks in exams even though i study 1-2hrs a day.
Thats great to hear! Its definitely very effective 🫶🏼
