Thank you for posting I was there last night as well and you can testify to anyone who visits here that it was a special night even Beyond description. And your wonderful shot of the Beach Boys together is so important. I had my binoculars on them all night just to see how they reacted with each other and with the music and this was a once-in-a-lifetime event. Everybody in attendance was lucky and these performances were almost uniformly great. Unfortunately lady--a did not mail the harmonies or thel Melody of surfer girl Hansons didn't get into the joyous groove of Barbara Ann. Other than that the performances were celestial and LeAnn Rimes and Norah Jones and John Legend and Brandi Carlile in particular gave career-defining performances from my perspective. Or I should say rather that they showed themselves to be the brilliant professionals they are and bringing their tremendous talents to The Beach Boys covers
I thought Hanson did a great, and yes, joyous, rendition of Barbra Ann. I was, however, majorly disappointed in how Brenda Carlisle deviated from the Beach Boys on In My Room

I guess some songs I just like better when the Beach Boys do them. But thank you for your comment which made me listen again and rethink it. They love the beach boys and they showed it well
Wow! Amazing music, Jason Faulkner (guitar) and Roger Manning Jr. (keys) from Jellyfish, and I THINK that is Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums from Paul McCartney's band. WOW!

And you're a groupie tool. Never got what the attraction is to MMJ. Beck is far better, imo as a songwriter, producer, and has much more range in styles.
It's too bad that CBS overplayed the Masters because of the rain delay. It ruined my attempt to capture the whole show on one recording. Hopefully CBS will play it again.
that was going to happen to me too but my past experiences with CBS and live sports is always fraught with crap like that. So I always add an extra hour to my Tivo/DVR recording, just in case!
