- Dual Routes that can be done upon SERVER RESET--you do not even have to wait until 12 hours later!
Note the very first area in Fontaine where I don't love farming without Wanderer can still be done without Wanderer. You will simply have to go to the base of the tower and work your way up instead.

Thanks for this, a few spots on my usual route I wasn't aware of. Also I wasn't aware you could teleport after hitting 100, I assumed the area would just reload. It may be worth visiting the tatarasuna area again, I never learned those spots and it looks like I don't have to remember which is which.
Np. And technically you really can't teleport to "another ambiguously defined area" after hitting 100. Assuming you're talking about Tatarasuna area, note that I end up "running into the last area" when going from 99 to 100
13:45 There is one more container spot that can be spawned after reaching 100 limit. It's near the walls structure, a bit south of New Fontaine Research Institute teleporter, right near the water, where an exquisite chest was found.
I was aware of the additional container spot, tried it once, but it felt too far for me to want to do daily. I have indeed forgotten where it is though lol
@@JomoFomo7 just use teleport underwater that is south east of the container.
23:44 At the top of east tatarasuna you should be able to grab one more by running downhill to get the bake danuki to lead you back uphill to blow up his barrel.
Hm, iirc bake danuki don't spawn their artifacts after already hitting 100 investigate spots, no?
@@JomoFomo7 when you get up there you should already have 99 investigate points under your belt. Since the rest of that zone has already spawned, the bake danuki is an extra like the artifact in the rock blasted off by the cannon.
That way I get 126 investigate points for route B.
You can start with the danuki. It's near a teleporter.

Haha. U should absolutely do so as a fellow fodder farmer. Not only that, but he's great for doing Daily Commissions faster too! (Usually the travel time is longer than the battle time--but he's great at overworld battle too)

Yep! Lucky enough to also have a Lost Prayer! To me, it's his "true BiS" lol
Thanks for the guide, only did and marked route A so far. The eremite strongholds are a bit too dangerous for me (both in terms of accidentally hitting a spot without artifacts and getting hit without a shield and losing time), so depending how route B is, I might adapt it a bit to what I'm more used to.

Further comment: There is a teleport cover on top of point A74+2 and another clover at A86+10 that you didnt use
I would like to avoid B21+6-8. I am never fast enough to avoid the sumpter beast and killing them takes too long. I usually now go for the abyss mage nearby to at least partially make it worth the time but this is my least-favorite place.
Also, what do berries give in the parametric transformer? I usually use samachurl scrolls, they give talent material
I'm not sure of the exact ratio, but I am aware that the Mora-type (type 1?) are worth a bit more value on avg. There are certainly some non-Mora-types included just because they're easy/quick to grab and help fill out 2 different "good" routes.
I'd be curious about the additional points you mentioned to see if maybe they're worth including over some others, though I'm not sure exactly where those are.
According to genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Parametric_Transformer#Reward_Distribution berries have a higher chance of Character Exp and Talent Books.

@@diegogonzalo8637 not quite, since one of the Horns' increased item drops is Weapon Ascension material. For me personally, I value that one a little less than Character Exp and Talent Books.
i'm quite sure the 4 spots in old vanarana do not respawn upon server reset. Check again tomorrow if you could. It doesn't have to be the moment the server reset, just as long as it's less than 12h since you last looted it.
I've certainly gotten those 4 spots in under 12 hrs multiple times. I can't necessarily say I've tested for under 6.
@@JomoFomo7i've gotten things back early too, even when they should be 24h. But that's caused by something server side. It's not normal behavior.
@@JomoFomo7 based on my research they're 12 hours, and from my extensive research on all of the mobs/elites/investigation spots/consumables throughout KQM Library tickets, I've never seen an object that has a permanent respawn that is not affected by 12/24/48/72h timers - the only exception are elite mobs + common enemies attached to them
for anyone that doesn't know - the respawn starts at discovery time, not collect time - meaning you can go to location with for example a hilichurl, go do something else and come back 11h 50 min later back to hilichurl - if you kill it, they will respawn ~10 minutes later because 12h from discovery will pass - this applies to things that i stated in previous paragraph
Quick heads up I just did my route B last night around 9pm, woke up and went to that Old Vanarana 4-spot around 7am and successfully claimed those 4 spots. It does seem to be doable on server reset to me (or at least < 12 hrs - I'm not willing to delay doing an artifact run until 3am, wait until server reset at 4am in my time, and then check lol)

Right, you'll need to wait until the server reset to collect all of "Route B" the next day. And you can also do the Apam Woods 7, Fontaine 2, and Chasm 1 spots at the end of "Route B" too (but only if 24 hrs have passed since you last collected these particular 10 spots)

These routes are amazing, thank you very much for sharing! However, after a certain point I stop getting artifacts from the spots there defenitely ARE artifacts usually (and which I haven't harvested in a day so they should be fine). Is there any kind of limit to how much you can collect in a day?
Yep. You can technically only hit 100 "Investigate" spots per day. But you can cheat out a few extra by going to 99. Then go to a new "ambiguously defined region" to spawn all the Investigate spots there, and collect all of those within that "region". But if you travel outside of that "region" all of the spots will despawn/disappear if you've already done 100 "Investigate" spots in 1 day

I sure have! She's great! I one day hope to maybe get her C1 (but not this time around since I need to save for chiori/arlecchino/clorinde lol)
Idk why but at the first route I can never do the last part. It just won't show me any artifacts like never. I even skipped the part before going 100-127 but that won't do it. Heck, even at 87-90 it won't show any artifacts. Is my game bugged? Because with my other account it does work. I tried it every day so far
Are you making sure to not do any other "Investigate" spots at all? Since you can technically "only do 100 per day"?
In route A, the forest after the desert, the first spot in the hut doesn’t exist and the rest seem to give vegetables.. Will this change after some world quest, or has it just been permanently changed in an update?
At the very least, I know that area has to be set to and left on the "raining mode", which I'm guessing may have some quest requirements to unlock?

Would Xianyun/cloud retainer be a upgrade/side-grade/downgrade to wanderer for exploration?
Currently I'd say "arguable equivalent exploration value" where Wanderer is better at some aspects and Xianyun is better at some others at C0. C1 Xianyun may be a different story (I don't have C1 tho)
5:11 you counted a 7th spot but theres only a mora inv spot.
Doh. You are absolutely correct. I said "7" for no reason. And then proceeded to count "10" twice 💀. But in total, there are indeed 10 spots in that area
I'm getting vegetables from the Vanarana spots instead of artifacts.. any idea why? The house and the few rock spots at the very beginning. I stopped checking the other locations in that area. Edit: The Vanarana Forest. Not the "Old Vanarana" location...
Hmm... It's been so long and I never switch up the "settings" anymore in terms of which version of Vanarana I'm in. But my guess would be ensuring you have completed the (extremely long) aranara quest line and try flipping between the versions of Vanarana... But hopefully someone else could chime in if they happen to know exactly what your issue might be
Your guess was correct,they only spawn in the normal phase of vanarana,dream vanarana has no hilichurls and more vegetables in those spots than artifacts

there appears to be either a new cap on how many you can obtain now or it is a bug. I followed your path midway and the entire map stops showing any new artifacts * , it happened twice but is resolved once the server resets the next day
Are u sure you didn't do other "Investigate" spots earlier in the day as part of questing or normal exploration? I still did these routes without any issues today/yesterday.
@@JomoFomo7 it's a glitch, it even made all the tea leaves that you can gather in Qiaoying Village disappear , and i never bother picking those

Sry. That I do not. They won't even give us enough pins to do so in game :( I've settled for a single pin per area located at the first spot of each area
@@JomoFomo7 I meant a map image with like a drawn red circle or a number wherever the artifacts are located. It's easier for me to follow along with an image cheat sheet instead of memorizing everything from the start.

You can do Route A anytime one day, and then Route B anytime the next day. The "Apam Woods/Fontaine/Chasm" spots can be added to the end of either route, but those are on a 24 hr timer.
For example, let's say you stay up late and do Route A (including Apam Woods/Fontaine/Chasm) on Friday night 11pm. You go to sleep and Server Reset happens. You wake up Saturday morning at 7am and decide to do Route B. You're able to do all of it, except Apam Woods/Fontaine/Chasm won't be available until 11something pm at night.
Lastly, note that in order to do these routes, you must Not do any other "Investigate" spots since there's technically a 100-Investigate spot limit per day.

Pretty much. Unless you do them on the dot, the time will keep pushing back. 8pm becomes 8:10pm, 8:15pm, etc... Then you have to skip a day to reset because it's too late.

To get artifact fodder xp each day to level up 5 star artifacts
It's worth at minimum 80k artifact XP (80 resin worth)
or 80k mora if you salvage the artifacts (equivalent to 27 resin each day).
