Honestly I don't even understand why this went to court. This is why our legal system is a mess. They r suing a person for adopting a child so siblings can stay together. They went to "try" and convince the mother to allow them to adopt them. That means they knew it wasn't a certainty. Whether it was a week 2 weeks before the birth who cares. The adoptive mother has the right to decide. She decided for someone else.

The real bad person in all this is the birth mother. She needs stop having babies that she then throws away.

Everybody talk down on the lady !but I see her side! While she did not show emotional stability that I would like a mother to have. I can see why she was so upset she had 2 people that she thought were her best friends mad on some jealousy get back shit suing her on national television for less money than the gift she give them for Christmas instead of accepted her apology and being happy for her and her children like a true friend would ! It was about the money and them man didn't care about that baby they wanted a new doll to play with! Period and for that fact alone she had every right to be so upset!

There is no way this should have gone to court. They can dress it up all they like, they were trying to strong arm the buryh mother in to giving the baby to them.
The judge said she could understand their resentment, but I can understand the defendants exasperation. They couldn't even express what their allegation or claim was. Not to mention the fact that keeping the siblings together should be paramount to anything. Being "rich and successful"
doesn't automatically make you good parents and I worry about their existing child with their parents' total lack of a moral compass

Yes, if possible siblings should be together but this woman kept telling the two men she wasn’t interested. They were acting in good faith by flying to Indiana. It’s sad, but the men need to eat this expense and move on. I hope they can find another child to adopt for a happy future.

Look, they're sueing because they were their spending their own money and so she could've communicated sooner to them that she was going to take the child so they could've gone home. Basically they're just pissed that she didn't at least let them know sooner. Why that makes her liable for the entire trip, I have no idea. It could make her liable for a couple of days of the hotel stay if she and the mother had already fully decided, but there's no way for him to prove that

Siblings being together may be preferable. Heck, siblings being raised by their birth parents may be even more preferable, but neither is always in the best interest of the child.

It’s kind of very messy situation on way how they dealt with this because they should’ve if they’re going to do agency they should’ve kept it agency and before spending any expenses they should’ve ran it by the agency so that the agency could document how much expenses they were actually spending to actually adopt his baby that way they could either have an agreement if they’re not at the end of the day if the mother changed her mind then she has to reimburse the couple that was actually paying for her basically pregnancy expenses because it’s kind of wrong for a person to actually promise something and then take their money to pay for medical Spencer related to the baby and then when it came time to produce said baby and then there’s no baby they should’ve had in a formal agreement a long time ago and she was already a six months pregnant and the mother should’ve actually settled on what she should’ve done before a long time before she contacted the defendant and even though there is a grace period after birth because we all understand that motherly instinct sometimes don’t shows up until that grace period once they actually look at the baby and apparently that happened to the defendant in the previously she said she didn’t want to adopt. That’s the reason she passed the opportunity to another couple now I understand that the plaintiff kind of feel hurt that they that were a opportunity to adopt and they just wanted to know get to know the mother a little bit more. The second chance around before adopting for the second chance with the same mother and I hate to say sometimes you know mothers are not exactly promise that monthly bond on each child they just kind of wanted to assess out if the mother was really genuine about you know giving her baby up again because it looks like this is her third pregnancy and each time you get pregnant it might be a different situation. We don’t know for sure and that maybe you know they just wanted to make sure she was actually Serious to wanting to give up her baby again because usually Sarah gets they kind of not. She’s not a surrogate but a lot of times swim I like this kind of do it only wants because they don’t want to chance have that bond and be heartbroken and having to struggle on having to provide for that child more than once it’s kind of that I think that old adage about you know having regret and about also you know being about is she really serious this time around about adopting for the third time usually they don’t go to no more than once twice is usually a miracle because of the feelings that are B would be involved I mean for you to go through nine months of pregnancy just to give it up. It’s a lot emotionally on a woman even if they were too be a gold digger call of spade. They’re just doing it for the money, but still, they still go through those feelings you know those emotions during pregnancy you don’t quit you don’t escape those feelings unscathed even down to the postpartum afterwards if you ever experience those now like with the judge she’s very you could tell that both sides they come from fluent backgrounds that just put it that way that they make probably more joy of us making a 10 years in one year in total on both sides then it kind of sucks that she’s the one that ends up with the second child that she said she didn’t want months prior but at the end of the day it’s on the mother she chose to go ahead with adoption with the defendant, even that she was actually negotiations with the second couple even though, if they said they went through the agency, they should’ve had a more formal agreement with the agency that should’ve been more binding, even though she declined months prior and they said they were usually go to the agency. I think she should’ve actually when she declined. She should’ve formally said I declined to adopt that third child on such such a date and that should’ve been legally finding because personally I think if they go through an agency that you only have one arrangement at a time that way you don’t have like multiple couples that that are vying for the same child and it doesn’t feel like you’re trying to buy a baby
