"But wait, there's more!" Seriously, great items. I am thinking of a f355 and would consider all of them a necessary purchase. Thank you!

Superb workmanship! Ferrari should be ashamed of themselves for putting out that crap!

Exhaust don’t suck, it blows. Vacuum leak is on the intake side

Vacuum leak may not be the exact terminology, however, the pulses in an individual header runner will create a vacuum behind each pulse and can occasionally pull things back into the combustion chamber.

@@FabspeedMotorsport yes that pulse is why they have tune headers to maximize exhaust exit out the tail pipe. As for sucking inside the engine, the exhaust stroke is pushing the burn fuel with exhaust valve open, and under intake exhaust is close, I just don’t see or ever heard of an ice engine that suck anything back into the chamber from exhaust side.

@@criticaluplink It happens. I’ve seen cases where a broken turbo blade gets sucked back into the engine through the manifold. Now imagine a single pipe when its chamber is producing vacuum and the exhaust valve is partially open (there is always overlap)

Hi Joe, great explanation. I was looking at Capristo for my F430 because they offer the blankets. Didn’t know Fabspeed sells those as well for the F430. Do you have a dealer in the Netherlands (or somewhere else Europe) that sells your products? Thanks!

Not sure how its a “vacuum leak” if its on the exhaust header. I’d think it would be an “exhaust leak”…….

It's called scavenging. It is a vacuum, just on the exhaust side.
