    PotomacBeads Tutorial is excited to present the Falling Leaf Earrings, the perfect project for beginning beaders! These earrings are inspired by all the beautiful colours of the season, and are sure to add a touch of elegance to any outfit.
    To start the Falling Leaf Earrings you will start with a thread tied onto the toggle. Add on 2 Delicas and begin using a brick stitch to bead a row of Delicas around the finding loop.
    Start a second row of Delicas, continuing to use the brick stitch. Use the same steps to complete the third row on the toggle.
    Use the crystals and seed beads to create a pattern around the edge. Watch Bridgette in the Fallen Leaf Earrings tutorial to complete the project.
    You will love these Falling Leaf Earrings! They are so much fun and easy to create. Using the pewter leaf toggle from PotomacBeads will give your earrings a beautiful and unique look. These earrings are so easy to make, and they're perfect for fall. They would make a great gift as you can wear them with any outfit.

      Wildfire is beading thread and I usually use 0.006". You're mixing it up with Fireline which is a fishing line and is sold by the weight of the fish you intend to catch.

    Everyone is acting like Bridget came up with this idea of using toggles and findings for jewelry, when in fact a another beader did it first about a month ago, and she put it on TH-cam. Bridget and Potomac beads did not think of this, so the credit does not go to her. Not being a meanie but nowadays people are just trying to steal other people’s ideas and claim it as their own. I wish she did the right thing and gave credit to the correct TH-camr.
    Edit: I had to find the correct name of the TH-camr...her name is DV Beadiful. The credit goes to her for that idea.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Missy, brick stitch can be used around any suitable object whether they're findings or anything else. Just because Bridgette thought of using a toggle ring, doesn't mean she didn't think of it all by herself, so the credit for these earrings does go to Bridgette. Also, it isn't "stolen" since there isn't any original design involved nor any copyright infringement. If you had been watching Bridgette's live stream on Twitch, you would have seen her playing with ideas to make these several weeks ago. Findings are made specifically for jewellery making. I'm sure that in the five thousand years since humans have been making jewellery, thousands of people have come up with the same ideas.

    • @missyidontgiveacrap9939
      @missyidontgiveacrap9939 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      PotomacBeads
      Um I don’t think so, I’ve been watching beading for a long long time and the use of findings were never used on your channel. And again, you said that Bridget was playing with the idea a “few weeks” ago, right after DV Beadiful posted her video so I know bridget saw that video. Come on, just whatever! I know my stuff and when I smell something fishy, I will call it out. You can deny it all you want, but I’m not going to believe, and neither will most people when they go to DV beadiful’s channel and check out the timings of the dates between her video and britdgets fake twitch video of her acting like she was “toying around” with the idea. Just give credit where it’s due and stop stealing.
      Edit: point in case, DV BEADIFUL posted it two months ago, lmao!

This channel has 1500 different videos & projects created over the past 8 years. There really isn't a reason to go looking at what other channels are doing, when we have hundreds of projects in queue. Regardless, this is a basic stitch, attached a a basic component. The PotomacBeads channel also has a dozen other various other brick stitch projects over the past years:

    I wish you didn't tempt us with beautiful things like this when you don't have the things we need for it in shop, like the rondelles 1.5x2mm. By the time you get them I have probably forgot about these or you will be out of something else :/

      Whenever we do a tutorial, everyone wants to make it, so the stock goes pretty quickly, but we have more on order. Make a notebook for the tutorials you want to make and when you have supplies ordered for a particular project. That way, when the items come in, you will know what they're for and can have fun beading. You can also be notified when an out of stock product comes back in store. You'll find the link for that on every out of stock item.
