    Nice. A Scene in color would have been real cool.

    I have commented on 3 of your videos today; all having to do with transferring images. Needless to say, you have a new subscriber 😊👏🏼👏🏼 I have been looking for ways to transfer an image to a small heart pendant I made out of eco resin and I think THIS will be what I try first! I will be putting clear epoxy resin over the image so hopefully it works 🤞🏼

    Would the tape melt at any point from the heat of the lamp? It’s an amazing project- thank you for sharing!

    How does one go about transferring a larger image with packing tape on a canvas to make it look like a painting? I find this a very exciting method! Getting the image on the packing tape doesn´t seem to be a problem, just getting it on the canvas.

      You can create any size transfer by covering the image with strips of tape that are overlapping so they stay together. When you're done mount it on the canvas with gel medium, mod Podge or pva glue that dries clear

    I just discovered your channel, looks like lots of cool ideas on transferring images. It will take me a while to get through all your videos, but have you thought of transferring images onto stoneware pottery not anything food would go on but possibly a vase or tile. I ask as I am exploring this idea as I am a potter and can see many applications combining your process with my pottery . . . 😊

      Ha ha!! Great minds think alike!! Another potter here, and I’ve been working with carbon trap glazes ..... possibly an extra, lower firing might sink the carbon from the print into an already glazed piece, much like lustre does. Days of fun and entertainment!!

      I don't know the first thing about pottery so I can't really advise you guys. I will be very interested to know if you do try. Hopefully in the future I will have time to look into it and give it a try. Thank you 🧡🤗🌻

    Amazing work, thank you for sharing!! Would this not work with an inkjet printer? The ink would bleed?

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It somewhat works but doesn't look as clear and crisp as the laser. It's quite difficult to remove all the paper without removing the image. If you do give it a try make sure to coat the photo with spray fixative before transferring 👍 Thank you Mia 🌻🤗🧡

    Really cool. Could you use a color laser copy? Also, what program do you use to make your photo black and white. I love using shipping tape to lift images off of the gelli plate 💞💞💞 thanks 😉

      Hi Renee🌼🧡😘 you can definitely use a color laser copy. I use Paintshop Pro for many years now, but you can also use Gimp which is free (I'm going to have a chapter about editing photos for image transfer using gimp in my new book) and also you can use a black and white filter in any photo editor app that is on your phone 👍

    can the tape stick to a canvas that is primed with acrylic paint?

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the tape doesn't stick well just add a few drops of clear glue 👍

  • @rapunzeleh546
    @rapunzeleh546 ปีที่แล้ว

    i tried it and the image just rubbed off... was it the tape? it was REALLY cheap dollar store packing tape.

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you use a laser printed image?

    • @rapunzeleh546
      @rapunzeleh546 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NitsaCreativeStudio no, only have an inkjet printer. i live in a small town so printing facilities are well.... non-existent. can't justify getting another printer! apparently this works with magazines too though...
