WOW! Exciting! Amazing! Mrs. Ortega has structured an online CPC course that anyone can follow and pass the CPC exam as long as you “Do what this woman says”. The energy level in the video keeps you engaged...truly unlike any other online course!
Oh my God! I've never been able to afford to travel to take MrsOrtegas 3 day class but then i saw she took her course on line! I bought it 5 days ago and I'm beyond hooked!! I was one of the unfortunate people who got talked into the aapc online course last year and it was a total nightmare...confusing and highly frustrating!!! But in taking the MCA online course, I'm just so thrilled!!! i broke into tears just watching the very first video because I already knew I had done the right thing. I was immediately addicted! When I say theres something real special about Mrs Ortega I mean it tenfold!!! You can see right away in her passionate way of teaching that this is no job to her but her purpose...her calling!! Her way of simplifying all of the difficult guidelines are are unreal. I have watched so many educators on TH-cam but nooone holds a candle to this woman...nobody!!! Not only are you "sucked in" to her teachings but she is so inspiring along the way and when you least expect it she makes you fall off your chair laughing!!! Shes just amazing to watch and her voice is heavenly! She basically does all the hard work for you and spoon feeds us. Indeed this lady truly is the Mother of Coders. Thank you for being a one of kind teacher ..this industry needed you and we are all blessed through you. I will be posting as I get further into the course. P.s. the Take home test prep kit is head over heals genius! Everything you will possibly need besides the online teachings are contained in the kit. I literally threw away every other study guide I ever had...I'm just in shock over this second to none online experience theres no other word for it.
I also purchased the AAPC online course and spent thousands. I felt very stressed, overwhelmed, and confused trying to teach myself guidelines and how to code cases from their online course. I came across Medical Coding Academy and seen they now have online course ( which is very exciting)! I was wondering if you would mind sharing the differences between AAPC and Medical Coding Academy online courses that you have experienced. I'm praying about the decision to start from scratch and purchase the online course from MCA. Thank you

The instructor Mrs. Delissa Ortega lessons are broken down into easy to absorb and relatable sections for your convenience. Her style of teaching is top notch!! She introduces hard tedious work in a fun and game like approach , where it honestly doesn’t feel like hard work... Mrs. Ortega’s “Her Way” and “Love it or leave it “ core learning methodology has a heavy emphasis on extracting the most important information and quite frankly she’s done all of the hard work for you!! Ok I just finished Overview VIDEO So far so good. A few things I see that I'm really excited about is it looks like you are teaching ME. You are looking me in the eye and explaining it to me and if I don't understand you can repeat it until it's stuck in my head. And I won't be bothering anyone else in the class that is just over me needing more explanations to be clear. I especially love how when you read the cases with the full definitions and we can see how it's abbreviated 👍. That's a bonus. Ok and THE STORY YOU TOLD on the Dr Michael Smith stole your cape, BUT he's kinda cute...LOZl

I am planning on attending a 2yr Health Informational Technician program at my local community college to get my associates. Watching some of your videos I am more confused if having the RHIT behind my name will benefit me. I also want to do coding also. Should I skip RHIT degree in community college or will that and taking your courses for the other certifications help me in my career. Thank in advance. I know you mostly deal with coding just wondering if you have some knowledge of that degree. My plan was to graduate and get my RHIT (registered health informational technician) and then get my coding credentials.

Hello Mrs Ortega! This is so exciting!! I have a question though, how will this online course differ from other online courses? From what I've gathered from watching your videos it's not worth doing online courses or college classes as they wont actually teach you the things needed to pass the exams. So what I'm trying to ask is, will the way its presented be closer to the classroom experience you speak about? Thank you! I've wanted to do the class in Dallas but it's just not been possible for us financially or time wise.
this online course its different from everything is out there, no competition can get even close to it. During the online course you will get a lot of useful information, regarding the exam, and regarding the actual real life challenges coding present at work, it's worth it. I will say the 3 day class is a better experience if you want to meet her in person, or if you want to get done in 3 days, but the benefits of the online its that you can watch it at your pace, replay it as many times you want. I hope that helps
