As an American, that has lived in Bulgaria, I have a love for the country and the people. When I think of our village, I think of the faces of the people who have become so dear to me. They welcomed me with open arms and I was invited by the ladies to partake in their traditions. They are kind. loving, good-hearted people. Bulgaria will always be a part of me. As a Lebanese that has had the honor to work alongside Bulgarians, I have nothing but admiration for Bulgarian People.
I really admire how polite and well mannered they are.
I visited Bulgaria twice I honestly felt like I was in Paradise especially in the spring.
I love and admire the amazing beautiful people of Bulgaria, 🇱🇧❤️🇧🇬

In spite of the monotonous way of speaking of this dude, what he says is very interesting for those of us wanting to know more about Bulgarian culture.

We are also very proud that our church has never had inquisition, has protected the Bulgarian Jews from deportation in camps, has non political role or child abuse cases.

The last is sadly a bit shaky, though. But it is true there are very few.

@@someinteresting Idk, haven't heard or read anything about child abuse by church members in Bulgaria. Homosexuality and even I remember one of them was caught in a dating app as well, but definitely nothing about child abuse.

khan krum the law writer, a ruler of the first bulgarian kingdom in the late 8th and early 9th centuary led war with an emperor of the Byzantine empire/ east roman empire. The emperorr attack Bulgaria and sacked some settlements and khan krum sent him a letter which said to take whatever they sacked and leave. the byzantines didn't listen, attack and torched the capital Pliska, masacred the population and started going home to Constantinopol. then they were ambushed in a passage in the balkan mountain and khan krum killed the emperor, afterwards he turned his head into a cup with precious metals and gems from which he drank. such a badass

@@piccalillipit9211 The LDS gang has a term, "mission", that describes the missionaries aim to provide service, teach religious lessons, and support local communities. So that is why this guy is here. In Sofia they adverse advertise themselves as a hub for language learning. The missionaries go through a pretty rigorous language learning process themselves and try to obtain converts by hosting 'free' language exchange sessions. Scam? Probably not, but yes odd...
