@@macvince idk why but your intro's are so short meaning more video no time wasted good work i bet you create media files of you talking and the video is just on the media files bet it takes a while
on Mac, Cut-Paste is basically replaced by CMD C to copy and then pasting with CMD+OPTN V to paste as a cut function instead of copy function. CMD X still works in text fields.
Just a small tip for that CTRL+X. On Mac you can do it with CMD+C and then instead of just CMD+V you can use CMD+Option+V and it works exactly like CTRL+X / CTRL+V on Windows. So there is no need to download some app for that, just learn a slightly new command.
The simplicity, straight to the point giving detailed info....and maaaan your editing is pretty epic. Cool stuff, I totally subscribed for more content.
I just got my Mac last sunday (technically 4 days ago) but only got the time (and energy) to study it today. Hehe. I'm so happy I found your channel and binge watching your videos. It is really helpful to me and also straight to the point. The animation of the video also keeps me entertained. My ADHD brain always flying somewhere else whenever I watch tutorial (or any kind of) videos. Thank you thank you!
Another "straight to the point" video with lots of great Mac apps. Loving this channel, and it seriously is just about my main source for learning about cool Apple related stuff.
I cant believe you only have 18k subs, the production quality and editing is insane and super informative I have owned a mac for years and I didnt know most of these. Keep up the work bro. You are ones of the best mac youtubers
one feature that I really miss from windows is the incredible ability to click on a icon in the dock to open the app and click again to minimize it, such a obvious thing but mac users apparently don't miss it
I just started watching your videos -- I love the way you move quickly and simply. To me you're the best I've ever seen at what you do. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more!!!
Oh my gosh! You're a life saver❤️ Just got a Macbook recently and was having a hard time adapting to keyboard shortcuts and apps as I'm used to working with Windows. Thank you so much! You deserve millions of subs, views and likes! ❤️
Great video, but don't need the command x app. Simply copy the file you want to cut, and while pasting press Cmnd + Option + V to paste. This will move it from Location A to B and delete it from location A.
This is one of the best mac os apps videos I've ever seen. Not the same already known apps mentioned over and over again, and with some game changer between them. Like and subscribed
thank You Vince for the great tips. Only thing, I think it is easier to regularly copy a file and then use "alt+cmd+v" to have it been cut out instead of just copied. Kind regards Anton
Thank you for watching! Totally, I also do that and have no problem with it - but many people (especially those switching from Windows) find it confusing... Cheers!
Thoroughly enjoy your content...and definitely appreciate you going straight into the video, instead of a lot of nonsense introducing it. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
Great list! Shottr is the best! Some of these others I think I'd just use Raycast for, but some i think could replace older paid apps that i have. Thanks!
Can you make a video showing how you edit your videos like the zooming effect tilting effect you showed in this video and also some free video editing softwares where we can edit and make videos like this
your Apps and Tips videos are the best I've ever seen by miles. I know you're relatively new on TH-cam but you have much better content than most "old" TH-camrs. keep up the good work!!
Brilliant video buddy! I really like the fact that you get straight to the topic of the video unlike other youtubers who blabber for the first few minutes. Great job. Thanks for the reccomendations!

Every video of yours is like you feel what your audience need and you are giving it to them! really man, i am watching other mac apps videos too, but in your videos i really fell that i need almost every app what you show, what i cant say about other youtubers videos. On point information and on point edit… Great videos Buddy ❤ I am watching all of your videos… Your zooming or changing dimensions of it, looks crazy and way to visualisation makes viewers ‘not to stop till end’❤ Love from India 🇮🇳.
Mac's Finder does allow 'cut' and paste items. The cut and paste feature does indeed exist; it just works a bit differently from Windows. In Finder, the source item must be copied (Command + C) as usual, but instead of simply pasting (Command + V), you should use the shortcut to move (Option + Command + V). There you go! 😉

Hi, love the channel. I learnt a lot even though I have been using a Mac for 10 years. Do you have a recommended free video converter app? For example to convert AVI to MP4 etc?
Hi, thank you! Much appreciated. I've got the same problem - can't really find a good video converter app. I've used Handbrake for a while (open-source), but stopped using it because of the confusing interface. I'm still searching - let me know if you find anything. At the moment, for smaller video files, I use cloudconvert.com online. That works perfectly and is free.

We need more TH-camrs like you, no useless introduction that no one cares about, just direct to the point.
Nice done!

These apps are great but I'm switching to a Mac and I'm getting used to it haha but how do you think it's the best option for Windows programs?
Apple is very demanding regarding its security, so try to find Office keys, what I use is BNH Software in these types of cases.
I'm just noticing these details so I think I'll take your suggestion.

Or from the context menu (after right-click), hold Option key and there will be a “Move” action instead of the “Paste”
Man, this is so freaking useful! Thanks.
Useful, thanks
CMD SHIFT 4 works just as well to capture regions of screen
