    It is nice to hear someone with productive tips instead of whining why they do not have a 427 engine in their 1965 Nova.

    If you screen capture then select Full page, then save to files, it’s like copy paste for the text … creates a pdf. Not fool proof, but very handy

    WOW! I never knew you could take a screenshot by simply swiping up from the LH corner. (Of course you don’t need an Apple Pencil to do that. You can swipe the screen with your finger and it works.). Thank you very much! 😊

    Another helpful tutorial! I have the pencil and use is mostly in my Procreate program to draw, but you have given me new ways to use it! Thanks again, Rich, for your very enlightening video! ❤ I forgot to say, I love the swipe from the bottom left to do a screenshot. I had gone into my settings to add a little gray button on the Home Screen to touch which would take a screenshot. But it was always in the way and I was continually having to drag it to another position or spot on my screen. This will alleviate that problem! I can remove that button and just use the pencil once I set it to do the screen shot! Great tip!

      Hi Alicia. I forget that screenshot trick half the time and really do fool around trying to press the right button combination to get a screenshot. So that tip will help both of us!

    Good morning Mr. Rich, I really enjoy seeing your videos they are very informative. I'm in the market for an Ipad. I've been a Samsung girl forever at least over 10 yrs. I recently, started using the iPhone and I like it but there are a few things I really like on android verses ipad. For example I use the notes/calendar/magnfier on android instead of iphone. I wanted to ask you which iPad/pencil should I get if I want to draw, research, graphs, and lots of bells and whistles. Also, does the the ipad have a good magnifyer on it? I use magnifyers alot. I love tech, so I would love the extra bells and whistles on it. I was going to try apple Renewed/refurbished website to buy a iPad. Have you ever purchased from Apple refurbished ? and if so, how was your experience? Thank you for reading this message and I hope you have a great weekend/week!

    Some helpful tips. I use the pencil a lot but didn't know about the screen shot swipe, or the three finger undo, or the tap on the blank screen for a new note.

      It’s not only limited to the Apple Pencil - will also work when you swipe using your finger

    Hi Rich, I just found your informative video on how to use the apple pencil for seniors. I have an iPad 4th Gen. Retina with an Apple 2 pencil. I have not taken advantage of everything you showed us in your video. I'm left-handed and like most left-handers, I have written in the broken wrist method since I was young. Do you have any suggestions for me as a left-hander, as to how I can write better on my iPad? Regards, Richard

    Hey Rich. Do you use A screen protector on your I pad? I find it reduces the click/clack of the pencil on the screen. If you do what kind? Thanks so much for your videos. Using scribble to write this.😀😀

    Why wouldn’t you make appointment in candlers
    In the first place?
    Second why using your finger to type in and swipe
    Your Pencil?
    You don’t need a pencils
    You hold it in your hand and
    Point and tap with your finger.
    Thank you for showing how to do a quick shot. That’s new to me.thank you for taking your time to share.

    • @RichBowlin
      @RichBowlin  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      One reason might be that you're on the phone with your doctor and you write down your appointment date and time. Doing that with the pencil is way faster than asking your doctor to wait while you open the calendar app and add the appointment. Once it's written down, now it's just a tap or two and you've got the appointment on your calendar.

    What’s the difference between Quick Notes and Notes?

    • @RichBowlin
      @RichBowlin  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They're both notes, But Quick Notes are little notes you can swipe to get to well, quickly, without having to open the Notes application. Really handy once you get the hang of using them.

    Can you help me? I bought an iPad Pro 11, 12.9 inches for a deal. Then, I found out I can't find a stylus for it. None of the Apple Pencil alternatives will work on mine.

      @@BPe-ie9je My heating and hot water have been set up so I can turn them on and off via my iPhone. The actual switch is at the back of a cupboard. I said to an electrician recently, “can you pleased move that switch to my kitchen wall so I can reach it?”
      He replied “No you don’t need a switch, because you’ve got the controls on your phone”.
      But I don’t want to have to find my phone, put in a PIN, navigate my way to an App, open the App, then find the correct buttons on the App, then shut my phone down again. I just want to be able to reach out and hit a button on the wall! 🤦‍♀️. Edit: I see the computer calendar the same way. I could find my phone or iPad and navigate an App to see what I am doing this week. Or I could just look at the fridge! 😂
