1). We have 2 cats. When you are ready to re-cat, I would recommend getting two at once. Ours are the best of friends and they certainly keep each other company. I miss Jinx and Mittens too.
2). Yes, as a Christian I am certain of an afterlife.
3). For years I hardly ever watched TH-cam. I thought it was just a place with funny cat videos and such. Then one day I clicked on a link from a Sparks Facebook fan page. It was The Canadian Stud Muffin ranking all the Sparks studio albums. I enjoyed this video SO much I started watching more Canadian Stud Muffin videos and other album ranking videos on TH-cam. Now, years later, I find myself watching TH-cam on our big, living room TV more than just about anything else on TV, finding things pertaining to all sorts of my personal interests. Thank you Larry for opening up the entertaining world of TH-cam for me! You are a big TV celebrity at our house!

If you would have asked me from the ages of 18 and later on when I was 21, I would have said R.E.M. From late 1991 thru early 1993, I would have said Nirvana. Or, Sugar (from late 1992-1993). For a few months there, I might have said the Grateful Dead. For another few months, I might have even said the Byrds I think, in the end, I've got to go with Guided By Voices. Or Sleater-Kinney from 1996-2004. So, it depends.

I found you through KDRC maybe about three years ago. I don't remember the first video of yours I watched but it may have been one of the Beatles album reviews.
Hi Larry, here are 10 answers:
1. No and yes. Our own dogs and cat passed away, but my daughter has a daycare and hotel for dogs, so we are always surrounded by a couple of lovely dogs, see my profile picture.
2. Yes, I have just about the same feeling as you.
3. Must be a Beatle related video, but the one where you unpacked a new tv screen for your computer made me a fan, I picked up your sense of humor there.
4. I think about 5 years.
5. 67, turning on 68 next month.
6. I give it an 8, nothing much to complain. But if my dream to move to Romania next year comes true (long story), it may even move up.

Cool exercise, Larry...A nice little "get to know me" so we can all get to know each other a little bit better around here. My answers:
1) I have 1 small dog named Brûlée (as in the French dessert créme brûlée). She is an 8 year old, light-cream-colored, tiny toy poodle, and she only weighs 4-pounds. Since my wife & I only have three sons, and she never got a little girl (God's choice, not mine), I bought her the girliest girl dog I could find, but unfortunately (for my wife of 18 years), the dog definitely loves me the most...probably because I'm the one who feeds, grooms, walks, takes care of, and plays with her. LOL
2) As a life-long, cradle, Catholic, I too believe in life after death.
3) I don't remember what the first video I watched of yours was as it was quite a while ago, but I dug your sense of humor and genuine, honest, and kind nature. I came for the humor and stayed for the "great guy-ness".
4) I have been subscribed to, and watching, your channel for 4-5 years, or so.
5) I am 49 years old...born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana back in 1975.
6) Even though I have incurable & severely-painful chronic ailments, I tend to be a positive person who just "rolls with the punches" and not let tough times & struggles affect my outlook on life, nor influence they way I treat other people. I am a firm believer that even though we cannot control the things that happen to us in life, we are ALWAYS in 100% control of how we react to them. [Those are some solid & stoic words to live by...IMO]

9) I am pretty much an insomniac, so on non-working days, I usually can't get to sleep until 1:30-2:30am and I get up around 5:30-7:00am depending upon how I'm feeling that day (getting up naturally without an alarm). However, I typically toss & turn a lot, waking up & going back to sleep about every hour or so.
10) Favorite American band is either The Allman Brothers Band, or Chicago (but only the great Terry Kath years), or Soundgarden.

I also love several symphony orchestras and their conductors, especially George Szell and the Cleveland Orchestra and Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic.

1. At present I have 16 parrots. Have had pet birds since 2003, and my first bird was a little Meyer’s Parrot named Molly. I still have her, she is now 24 1/2 years old. I love dogs and cats, but having them can be dangerous for the birds so I went with parrots only. I have 3 macaws, 1 African Grey, 1 Eclectus, 4 conures, 1 lorikeet, 2 Meyer’s, 1 Senegal, 1 Jardine’s, and 1 Poicephalus hybrid. This is why I get up early and go to bed early!
