I found a huge package of baby wipes from Sams that was over 5 years old in a duffle bag of hurricane supplies out in my garage. They were completely dried up but I did not want to just throw them away because they were not ever opened. I put some water on one of them and discovered that it rehydrated and was perfect to clean around the sink in the bathroom. I ended up using the whole package to clean various sinks, the outside of toilets etc. I was so glad I did not just throw the whole thing away. They seemed brand new once I moistened them up.
Wow! That's a great way to re-use the baby wipes. I've been using them to clean my bathroom sink from soap residue that builds up and it works out great for me, too. Cleaning the floor with it was a win-win. Who knew baby wipes were so useful!
I grew up that way too. Soon as I was old enough to stand on chair and do dishes and reach the bottom of the laundry, 3 bin and washer, I was doing that too.😊
Hi Sara! Gotta get the trailer ready for Fall and Winter. Good time of year to clean and do the little projects! Have a wonderful weekend, too, Sara and God Bless You!
Oh yes, it's a lot of feel good progress cleaning up! This trailer was rough when I got it, but painting the floors white was a game-changer. Love to see the bright white paint shine back up! Keeping the countertop "minimal" is so nice!
Sarah, I just love your videos. I've watched other TH-camrs who use baby wipes to clean and they love them. They did a great job on your floor. I wish I had the energy you do, to clean like that. I've just got way too much stuff; I think I have to downsize. See you Tuesday.
Thank you very much! I'm happy you like my videos. The baby wipes are great for cleaning. I'm glad the floor is brighter and cleaner! I'm still sorting through my belongings, too, and working on downsizing things I can let go of. It's a process for me and does not happen overnight! Have a great weekend!
Your organizing videos have helped me so much. This week I cleaned a storage area and turned it into a mini pantry. I went ahead and marked the expiration date on each can, putting the oldest first. Baby wipes are awesome, much kinder for your hands. Have a great weekend!
I'm so happy to hear it! Creating a mini pantry is so smart to do, especially as the cost of living seems to continue to increase. It's good to stock up, and rotate your canned goods! Great job on completing your project. Yes, baby wipes are wonderful, glad I have them. I hope your weekend is great, too!
Hi Karen! I couldn't believe those baby wipes cleaned my dirty floor so good. So cool to find out! Have a great weekend, Karen and we'll have a good time on Tuesday!
I just went through having to move and fix my rug and everything you went through I SO felt because my couch is SO stupid heavy and I was figting to get the rug under the couch by myself. and the trying to so that one handed while you were filiming is exactly what I felt like. lol
I know what you mean! Sofas can be very heavy. I been thinking about getting a traditional sofa. But if I do that, I want to fix the floors first because I know moving it will be a bear!
You're right! For the longest time I thought my Man got me an "Easter Monkey"! As one viewer asked me a while back What's the tail situation....well definitely a Lamb's tail!
Sarah!!! i FEEL UP the pillow everywhere. I need a fairly firm pillow and most of them I feel like I could press them and then get pushed to the back of the display with very little pressue so they are super soft. lol they flatten too fast for me so I am always doing this.
I say use whatever you have on the floors. I had painted floors in a trailer a long time ago and you gotta be resourceful because a lot of stuff will strip the paint.
You're right! I did not have felt pads on the daybed for long time and it left marks on the floor. Nice thing about painted floors is they can be repainted. I got full gloss white on mine and those baby wipes cleaned it up nicely!
The wooden board with the for plastic bins is a cutting board. After you are done then you slide what's cut into the plastic bin. Then when all are filled put in fridge until ready to cook or use right away.
THAT WOODEN thing with the drawers is a cutting board and you slide the drawer over to the hole and if there is a lid you take it off. and you can prep mulitple things by removing and sliding the drawers over and store in those in your fridge if ya want.
What a clever device! I had not seen one of those before. I thought it might be for K-cup storage! I'm using cutting boards I got back in 2017. They're bamboo, and held up very well!
@@CareFreeLivingChannel yes as long as they are in good shape I use mine for a crazy long time. Mine are bamboo too. They do hold up super well and it's a great option as it's a better sustainable resource to use than wood. it grows super fast and cuting it down doesn't kill the plant.
Hi Sarah! I may be a day late but I’m here for your video. You wore me out with your rug rearranging! Looks good, though, as does your floor.
