The Nintendo eShop for 3DS is closed permanently, which would have been the only place to get Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe. The closest you might have is getting Kirby: Triple Deluxe, which has the original Dedede's Drum Dash subgame (also only on 3DS, but there's a physical release).

Ah, this game! I remember getting this shortly before the eShop closed down and playing through a couple levels. I ought to revisit it, but right now the 3DS I have it on is sitting on my table in the middle of probably the worst repair one could do on it (and I'm seriously biffing it up). Here's hoping I figure it out soon. Also, I for one like the editing on this video!

backbeat perfect requires you to get great on every single backbeat, not missing a single backbeat. You need it for the PLATINUM medals. getting hit stops you from doing backbeat btw.
@@Derpediah You can, you just need a LOT of practice. The only requirements for plat are "half of alloted time" "collect all coins" and "Backbeat perfect." take this from someone who platinumed the entire original minigame (never again).

if we're talking about 3ds rhythm games, could i suggest harmoknight? its my favorite video game despite it having tricky timing sometimes!! also i'm really liking the video editing at the start, it's really cool!! that's pretty much all i have to say though!
i completely forgot about this game, but i used to play this a lot along with megamix. i don't know if i was any good at it, but i know i enjoyed playing it. it was definitely fun watching you play this too! hope you get better soon!
It's a solid rhythm game! I technically played it before in kirby triple deluxe, but that was before I started playing rhythm games, and this version is way more fleshed out! Also I'm still sick somehow, but thank you :)
Great video, I also happen to be playing a rhythm game, Persona 4 dancing all night, rhythm games are a lot harder than I thought but it's fun, if you've never played Persona 4 then I can't recommend this game but if you have then this is a great spin-offs.
Fun fact: I got all platinums on this game. Not only that, I think I also went for the perfect score on all the levels. You can guess how excited I was when I finally perfected that last level.
Good question! I just used citra. If I knew I would made a rhythm game channel al year after the eshop closed I would've stocked up. But what can you do :l The only game I got before it closed was Rhythm heaven megamix
The window for the great backbeat is exactly the same across all songs, which is why it seems so much harder to hit in the slower songs.

Hope the repair goes well! I would recommend beating the game if you get a chance, it is quite fun. (Especially the last level)

This was my first rhythm game, and I'm glad it introduced me into the genre
I think the version on triple deluxe was technically my first rhythm game too! although its not what got me hooked on the genre

You can always mod your ds
Now play the original version in Triple Deluxe to get the extra masks
I’ve 100% this game I first got platinum on the crowned extra level but it wasn’t perfect so I sat myself down until I got it perfect
I forgot this was a game
