Just test drove the XSE 4 cylinder and the XLE v6. The power on the v6 is remarkable. It pulls nice. Turning on the XSE is sharp and the suspension is not too rough nor too smooth so you still get a good feel of road. The XLE took bumps like a king. Real good and it was more quite despite being a v6. It could be due to the sound dampening materials that they added into it as it is fully loaded. The XSe v6 would be the one that has the best of both worlds.
Thank you for a very good review of the 2018 Toyota Camry XLE V6. We've recently ordered an XLE V6 with most, but not all, of the bells and whistles. Example: We went with the Entune Audio Plus, rather than the Premium. My wife and I are both in our early 60's. We like our music, mind you, but our ears are not as perceptive as they once were. Entune Audio Plus should serve us well. The Entune Audio Premium package is also supposed to have a little better GPS Navigation. That's not a real problem to me. Most places I'm going, I've been there many, many times. If I don't know how to get there again, then maybe I don't need to still be driving. One thing that I'd like to make folks aware of. Yes, there is a BIG price difference between a 4 cylinder XLE and a V6 XLE. But they don't just change the engine. They change a BUNCH of things. It's hard to find the differences online. It's a distinctly different car ! Anyone interested needs to visit a Toyota dealer, and ask them exactly what changes between a 4 cylinder XLE and a V6 XLE. I promise that they will be surprised.

franz wetrfres, Thanks for your concern! I have actually been extremely busy with school (which started about 3 weeks ago). Then, just this past week, we have been "dealing" with Hurricane Irma... Now that I am back into the "school routine", and the Hurricane has passed. Hopefully, I can get a video up this weekend... If everything works out in my favor. Great car I have one. Also I noticed in the video this car does not have Navigation and does not have the 360 degree aerial camera. Having these features are a must for me now.

Mike - I always learn several things when I watch your videos. Thanks for giving the car a thorough once over. I like your yellow pointer - very helpful. 1. Where did the chrome looking grill come from - much better than the all black grill ( dark color cars chrome color grills, light color cars dark color grills?) . 2. I like your comment about the CD player and listening to 90's music. LOL 3. I am amazed that when I look at a car like this on a Toyota lot, after viewing your videos, I usually know more about the Camry than the salesmen. 4. I wish that you could have shown a car which had the dynamic navigation screen/unit (I am having a hard time finding a V6 with this option). Almost ready to buy but want to see the dynamic nav unit NOT the connected phone nav unit. 5. Also, was the interior of this grey or black? (maybe I need a new computer monitor - or new glasses). 6. I noticed that you did not mention that this Camry did not have a sun glasses compartment near the rear view mirror. Finally, Thank You for doing a really outstanding job reviewing this Camry.
Thanks for the info. - after some digging I see that there may be 2 types of Navigation - connected and integrated. Yikes!! Why don't auto makers just provide ONE really navigation unit and go with that.
Great video but the pointer isn’t necessary when you can use words to describe what the viewer needs to see, or use the pointer attached to your wrist :)
MikesCarInfo I think you describe things much better than most reviewers so no need for the pointer but then I feel you on the reach issue. Thank you also for pointing out details that other reviewers gloss over. Most reviews just rehash the same talking points as the press releases but you show the interesting stuff in the menus.

I love that copper stitching through out the car, and the strip on the seat, wish they had that on the XSE trim too
