  • 2008 R6 w/ full M4 exhaust(stainless steel headers/carbon can)
    Filmed with T2i @ 1920x1080/30fps/Auto Exposure and rendered/edited in windows live movie maker. (Hope it comes out alright, first time using wlmm.)
    I accidentally covered the mic in a few parts of the video. That's why some parts sound muffled.

    My 2012 R6 is the most comfortable bike I've ever owned I I've owned a lot. The only 600cc bike I've not owned is the GSXR but I've ridden one quiet a bit. All the bikes were from 2006 and up and I can honestly say the R6 has the best feel for me. I can ride it for hours on end comfortably with no pain. I don't know how you can say riding on the street is boring?? I agree it's dangerous, but so is everything else you do in life (even racing on a track)

    I ride a 2010 R6 so I know how nice the bike is, but I ride only on the track now because there is no twisty roads where I live... The best yet very inexpensive ($30-$40) modification for our bikes (for stock chain and sprockets) would be going 1 tooth down (stock is 16teeth so 1 down to 15teeth) on the front sprocket... easy swap and it feels the bike gained 15hp !! no need to change the length of the chain or anything. You can always do a 520 swap -1front +2rear but that costs $200+.

    What was the weight difference between M4 full & stock full system? Do you have PC/Bazzaz?

    I dont see how something can be dangerous and yet boring at the same time...

  • @2cool0
    @2cool0 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    it kind of is.....you could use that for something more useful than buying a bike every 3 years.

    R6 is not a comfortable bike but it's nice looking !!! Many people get Street legal superbikes like the R6 thinking they will be able to ride fast and the first time these people pin the throttle and try flying around a corner they fail miserably. I ride a 2010 R6, only on the race track !!! riding it on the street is boring, painful and dangerous.

      @FailsAndFightsFNF 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Anyone know what causes that? Have it on mine and bugs the fuck out of me. Hate a ticking bike

      Just the valves clicking up and down is what I've read. I've tried to get used to it and to love it. Its my bike telling me its happy. haha.

      Cody A That takes a lot off my mind lol. I'm a dirtbike guy so when I hear clicking in an engine it gets me worried. Glad to know it's nothing to freak about

      Yeah I test rode a different R6 than what I own now and that one did it also. I even brought mine to a Yamaha dealer and had a mechanic listen to it and he gave me this "you crazy" look and said it sounds normal. So that put me at a peace of mind for the most part. But sometimes its SO damn loud makes me wonder haha. But yea on the other hand my brothers dirt bike has a clicking going on... rebuilt coming up. haha.

      Cody A Yeah I always thought it was lifters or maybe an injector noise. Glad to know I don't need to worry about it!
