@@PeterSantenello Peter .. Some individuals do much more than international organizations when they are empowered and supported by their community .. Watch the story of Doctor Abdul Rahman Al-Sumait in Africa.
The Prophet Muhammad pbuh witnessed a poor man and gave him money to buy an axe. After that, the conditions of this poor man improved.
Note that the Prophet Muhammad pbuh did not give him money to eat but to buy what makes him strong and able to work and this is what must be done on social and international organizations.
I still believe in the importance of having a meeting with the students of Islamic universities from the Americans to understand the aspects of Islamic culture in depth and to understand the aspects that the American society sees as wrong, away from the politicization and ideologization of minds in Western channels, such as:
Dr.Tahir Wyatt, Saajid Lipham, Joe Bradford ,Nicholas Pelletier, Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari ، Khalid Green

In America, there are NO donation limits and each party collects nearly a BILLION dollars to run a Presidential campaign. Here, each party is allotted an equal fixed amount from the government coffers and there are STRICT rules on donations including maximum dollar amount. Each donation has to be recorded from whom is coming from. Don't compare our system to the American (bought by corporations) system

@L ALoving Ahlul Baits doesn't mean following an extremist sect ie Rafidah sect that gained prominence in Iran after the grandson of the Sunni (Sufi) King becomes the ruler. He then kills all the Sunni Ulama and starts force conversion. Pior to the Safavids Iran was the heartland of Islam AKA Sunni Islam.
Loving Ahlul Bait means honouring Sayidina Ali (ra) by not painting him out to be a weak man. How dare anyone say they love Ahlul Bait and then believe Ali (ra) gave up his legitimate right and disobeyed the Messenger of Allah?
Was Ali (ra) this weak? Loving Ali (ra) means that you don't believe in stupid and insulting stories about Umar (ra) kicking in Fatimah's (ra) door ie Shias (some) claim that this fairy tale happened and to add insult to injury they claim that the lion known as Ali (ra) was present and helpless.
To be a Shia who is a Rafidi is no easy task. You literally have to believe in spiced up emotional stories. You focus on the creation and you leave Allah out of the picture and you hardly speak about Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
I have seen many Shia lectures and read Shia books. They contradict the Quran nevermind sound Hadith.

    • @1slamExplained
      @1slamExplained 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

The grandson of this King joined a minority Shia sect which today is the mainstream branch of Shia thought. He then decided to grow his empire by force conversion of Iranians to the Twelver sect.
How ironic and sad that the person who bought Islam to Iran is know seen as a none Muslim by this strange cult. And what is even more ironic that most of the followers of this cult don't realise that Iran was a Sunni nation up until a particular savage King converted to Twelver Shiasm. His history is full of murder and torture.
PS: I don't endorse mass conversions, Islam is free from this.

I have a serious question about the opioid addiction and addiction in general , would sending someone hooked on drugs to an island with only food and water for 1 month help them ? some remote island in Alaska or something , like a summer camp where they can only eat and sleep and work , would that work or would that make the condition worst ? It sounds like a good idea but since no one is doing it I figure it is not a real solution . If someone is hooked on alcohol or opioids , why not send them into some island in Alaska surrounded by water and leave them there for a month , they can sign a paper that anything that happens to them is not the governments fault and the government is not responsible for them although the government can use drones and stuff to keep an eye on them to make sure they are ok

Having worked in senior roles with, not for, local and central gov, I can tell you for certain from my perspective that it's not the fault of the 'all talk.no action' people. 1. They are educated and trained to fulfil narrow gov/political agendas, they are not trained to be creative and to take initiative, no matter how many great solutions they personally can talk about and would love to carry out.
      2. All gov-funded interventions are hedged round with tight legal and political requirements, timetables, tickboxes, notional outcomes that people in remote places have dreamed up to satisfy their political masters' agendas. Most often, these conditions fall way short of what's actually needed and can do more damage than good.
      3. People who work for local/central gov are by nature those who need the structure, security and stability (and other things) that working for gov affords them. They're not the most courageous of people, nor are they initiative takers, independent-minded enough, nor are they leaders. No matter how many great solutions they think up, they're quite risk averse and they've fundamentally accepted the quid pro quo of a secure job and commensurate loss of perhaps much of their own agency.
This isn't to denigrate gov workers. We're all different, with different aptitudes and talents.
      4. There are very few people in the world like Najah, Erin Pizzey, Harriet Tubman, Oskar Schindler, Elizabeth Blackwell, Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela, Florence Nightingale, Martin Luther King..... our communities and schools should encourage more, but that's not what schools are for.

This was amazing. Give a man a fish he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime. The goal should always be a hand up, not a handout. Political people who tell others that they deserve to be given things for free in order to keep their political power are not doing people any good. They are just keeping them subservient, with a victim mentality. We choose how we respond to situations and it’s nice to know there are still people and organizations that will help those who want to be helped. Thank God and his followers on Earth, that includes all the religions who are followers of God. We are one people for the people and by the people. Government is not some mystical entity. It’s just people and all of our tax dollars. If no one works, and there’s no tax money, then there’s no government money to give out. We all have to do our part and stop focusing on getting our fair share by putting our hands out. When and where does that stop? Ask not what your country can do for you, but instead ask what you can do for your country. That’s exactly what this organization is doing and you don’t get much more American than that. God Bless!

Once again, my brother Peter does a great job to explore, expose and promote humanity among Muslims for Muslims and others who are in need. We all know that there is always at least one food pantry in every town and city in America. But we rarely know that is a place like Zaman that does the same and more to help our fellow Americans especially single mothers and refugees. Sister Najah is absolutely right about the attitude of refugees. They do not come to America to be free loaders because just like a lot of us, they do have dignity. A lot of refugees who come to America are college educated. Getting a college educated level job in America as a refugee is almost impossible and they know that. Instead of feeling sorry for themselves, they are doing jobs that a lot of US born Americans don't care for. And that's OK for them as for a lot of immigrants, legal or illegal, in this country.
I used to volunteer at a food pantry in a small town outside my city until Covid eventually slowed down the activity to almost zero. It is not that people with limited to no income don't need the help anymore. I think a lot of them have given up. And that is sad because in America, we cannot afford to give up because if we did, a lot of countries that are relying on us or looking up to us and our resilience would give up as well.
Thank you, Peter, for your good humanitarian work. Assalamualaikum to Sister Najah for your humanity. ❤️ 🇺🇸

I LOVE this content. I'd love to see Peter visit some Native American reservations next. Maybe a less touristy one(although similar with the Amish IDK how much you can remove the tourist aspect of the equation).

Yes we do, especially here in Los Angeles where we got a bunch of "bandages" organizations where they put people in a fancy hotels by the beach or in Downtown and give them free stuff. I'm not so sure if it does anything like helping them to find work and get skills like what this organizations in this video do but as far as I know they don't really want to talk to TH-camrs for an interview which is strange.

This is amazing! Our government and media needs to focus on this amazing process. In order to build a nation, you need to heal, rebuild and accept all who come to our nation. We need to make something that helps us give jobs to all . This woman built something that is substantial and honorable.

This is got to be the best, most uplifting video I’ve ever seen on TH-cam. Bless this lady and her organization. This is a model for every community. If you’re a politician and not spotlighting this, you are part of the problem.

Beautiful story and amazing efforts to help people in need. May Allah bless her and reward her immensely for her deeds.
Her name Najah which I assume originates from Arabic language can hold beautiful meaning depending on how Arabic speakers interpret it.
First meaning is نجاة which means Surviving.
Second meaning is نجاح which means Success.
God has made her a reason for troubled souls to survive and feel success in life.
