I never use Camera Raw in photoshop, strictly making edits in LR then opening as layers in PS. Is Camera Raw the only real benefit to opening as smart object layers versus as normal layers?

Are the new LrC 12.3 is support new raw file from new camera? Like cr3 from canon eos r6 ii?
Yes, Lightroom supports the R6 ii.
