Yes, those are snakes. This song is from her Reputation tour & after Kim K called her a snake; she came back with a new album & a new attitude & she is owning that 'snake' persona. She took all the BS the media spread & she leaned into it or just made fun of it in all the songs on the album. For a cool song/video 'Bad Blood' with Kendrick Lemar is cool. Another great song/video is 'Look what you made me do' (referring to the fact that Kanye & Kim lied about her, got the world to turn on her, calling her a snake, so they 'made her' come back tougher & harder). Cool live too, but the video is really good. All her videos & live performances are great. She is a bad ass. I love her live performance for 'Vigilante shit' too.

just for the record: a lot of the songs in the Reputation era are about ---- wait for it ----- her REPUTATION. A false narrative. Media was constantly slut shaming her: that album is a big middle finger to her critics. "They say, 'She's gone too far this time' " Anytime someone is talking about her, she's going to push it to the limit. "I Stay Out Too Late, etc. That's what people say" from Shake It Off. You'll find people talking in Blank Space; in Mean; there might be a song on every album that discusses how people see her, and false impressions.

I think it might be helpful for you to go back to the Reputation stadium tour. Different choreographer and the songs hit hard. She was trying to condense some songs for time in Eras. My opinion.

The Reputation live performance is better, this one is good, but the OG one is a take-you-to-church experience.
No, the eras tour performances are just as good. She does it great every time. How can say that about that transition to LWYMDO.
I completely agree. I think all the OG songs are better on their original tours. I went to Era’s tour in Nashville. Then I saw the movie in theaters 3 times and have watched on Disney around 5-6 times so I definitely like it but most of the songs are chopped up leaving out verses at a time. To really appreciate a song I recommend seeing the original.

This is so much better live from Reputation tour. The “Take me to church” moment is not as good here. Imo, all the songs from previous tours are better in their original tours. The Era’s tour either leaves out verses or like in this song she doesn't have those druid-like dancers that were so compelling on Reputation Tour. Even the snake was better on Rep tour. I suddenly forgot the snakes name. Lol

I mostly agree with your assessment. One of the things I really like about this one is she has the "squeak" (voice break)on the one note. I always love it! Don't know why...lol.
