And while I'm writing this comment, Kensington is playing their last big show in the ZiggoDome (sold out 6 times) with Eloi as singer... He decided to stop. Of course, I respect his choice, but it's such a shame.. His voice, that guy is so inspiring. Best voice I've ever heard. Yes, I'm emotional haha. Enjoyed them for 9 years. Now they're looking for a new frontman. But it will never be the same.

Much much appreciated reaction! I am a huge Kensington fan and I love all their songs, but this one is special to me. It's pretty intense and when it's finished, I always need a minute to breath. - This song literally made my heart beat again and skip a beat which it hadn’t since August 14th 2018 when my 33yr old love of my life, a HUGE Kensington fan, passed away while we were travelling. It’s as if he sent me a message through his favourite band and it hit me like a brick on the head. This song together with The Silence by Manchester orchestra kept an obliterated heart going in the darkest of times; there are no words powerful enough to express how absolutely devastatingly magnificent this priceless pearl is! Thank you for the review and lots of respect to you, you’ve obviously been through some shit and have turned them into positive experiences or lessons learned ; noble to pass it on!

Actually, this song is all about 1 thing; leaving the band.
"Now thow away my only friends": the other 3 members are his "only friends" because they did everything together.
Actually he's singing about his feeling and thoughts.
When they were working on their album, he felt that he's not able to write about other things but about leaving.
He realised that he wanted to change his life and had no more motivation to stay as frontmen of the band.
So actually all he write about, was about goodbye...
Listen to their songs "part of me" and "Island" for example.
Actually the other band members didn't want this song to be on the album because they expected that fans would've understood the message behind "No me", but in the very last moment they decided it had to be on the album still, because it belungs to it.
In the end, nobody got the message ectually, so they - uncluded me - were shocked when they brought the news back in november 2021 that Kensington's frontmen Eloi Youssef was going to leave the band...

I was there!! I just wanted to tell that this is the last song sang by Eloi. As my opinion i do not think the band itself has stopped.
The other band members Casper, Niles and Jan really don't want to stop. So they're looking for a new singer, but I guess it's very hard to find someone with this kind of voice.
My number one youtuber is you. Always neutral and excited and polite. As soon as i have more money, i am going to request something.

I think I commented before about this, their latest album "Time" is so much more introspective. For deep lyrics you can react to "Insane", "Island" (has an interesting video), "Chronos Pt1" (and pt 2 although it's only instrumental) or "Ten Times The Weight". And with this I already mentioned half of the album. You already reacted to "Uncharted" from this album, it was written after the younger brother of a good friend of theirs died in an accident.
