Steel Vengeance enjoying one last year at the top before Good Gravy comes for the crown.
Sweet, I only live 2.5 hours from Holiday World, I'll have to go next year and ride this new #1 coaster. Or I may take a different voyage to find the best coaster in the park.
Nah we all know the true #1 … Mind Eraser at Six Flags America
Sounds like no one has heard about the best coaster ever which opened earlier this year, Kid Flash: Cosmic Coaster
@@evan9902 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Funny good gravy being number one. It's Orion and it always will be lol
I love the transition animations you have. it’s clear you put a lot of effort in. they’re very creative and actually funny LOL
Thanks, I tried to do it whenever I could group the coasters together with anything they had in common
Thunderhead was insane for me this year, perfectly smooth and super intense and well-rounded. I don’t know my exact rankings but I’m comfortable calling it top 20, it’s just near perfect.
same!! it was very smooth, i was shocked. it still had that woodie rumble and was butter smooth. got some night rides in the rain and man it was wild!!
My 2022 rides were great
So happy to see viper in the top 100, underrated is an understatement.
Hell yeah brother
Super cool to see Dragon Mountain make the top 100!
Cornball Express is soooo underrated. I love to see it here, as I rarely hear anyone talk about it.
Biggest surprise for me is I305 at KD being ranked lower than InTRIMadator at Carowinds. ;) Thanks as always for the entertaining vids!
He Hates I305 Lol
Great video! I enjoyed watching! Those 2 Norwegian coasters Storm the Dragon Legend and Thunder Coaster do look like a lot of fun.
Great list! As per usual, I'll list mine, but this time I won't explain anything about the rides (just takes forever lol) so if anyone has questions just ask. I rode 24 new coasters this year, bringing my total to 123, which means I finally have a top 100!

Rip to the 23 that didnt make the cut
@@AirtimeThrills Yeah unfortunate lol. I would've listed all of them, but most of them are just kiddie coasters
Glad to see The Beast make the top 100. I wonder if a night ride would move it up higher, just like any other famous night rides. Plus, I give you credit for trying to narrow down a 100 top rides. With you have over 600+ credits, I figure 10 to 20 could have been number 100.
When you see what got left out of the top 100 and think you gotta have room for it...but you dont
Dragon Mountain making your top 100 is really nice, thats kind of more reason for me to experience it :D
Loved the editing and scriptwriting in this video! Great Job! I think Medusa at Gadv is a top floorless as well.
GOOD JOB!! This one is different then the others, but I LOVE IT!! Keep up the good work!
Excellent video! Can't wait for 50-1!
Great list so far. Been on 44 of the 50, and one of the 6 I’m missing I rode as Firehawk. Looking forward to the rest of the list on Thursday. I think I had more coasters from Europe hit my top 100 but I hit up Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and France.
Great list!
i have been waiting for this all year
Loved the video as always!! Interesting to hear other perspectives. Thing that stuck out to me most was Viper over Thunderhead. I think the track work did wonders for Thunderhead and I had several awesome rides on it, enough to have it in my top 25 at the moment (out of 188).
Viper, on the other hand, offered me nothing, and I was in that second to last row. It wasn't rough, but I unfortunately never left my seat once.
Also I love me some Manta, especially with it being at one of my own parks, but man, that Tatsu pretzel loop is just too awesome. It's my second favorite airtime-less coaster as of now!
And yes, I would be one of those people who would say the SFMM Viper is too rough 😆
Looking forward to 50-1!! :)
It is great that everyone has their own opinions. My personal taste would put Hagrid's above Expedition Everest. I skip Kraken and The Hulk everytime I go to Orlando 😄. They are both head bangers IMO and I spend most of the Hulk greyed out which isn't much fun for me.
I’ve been looking forward to this video since the first time I watched the 2022 rankings!
You having my number 4 coaster at number 54 (Hulk) really tells me I need to get back to the US.
Congratulations on six years strong and here's to many more 🎉❤ hope you get some awesome credits next year. 😎👌
Appreciate you man🔥🔥🤙🏼
I am really surprised at the placements of some things and exemptions of others, but I respect your list and all the credits you have. My favorite coaster channel on youtube!
Nice list!
This is my favorite time of the year when Chris puts out his top 100. Oh yeah and Christmas too!
I was sssooo excited for this!!!
Viper and Dragon Mountain in the top 100 warms my heart 🥺🥺
Always a good time! 🔥🤘
Wasn't expecting Beast, but was happy to see it, even if it doesn't live up to the hype for you I'm hoping you get your night ride this year, fingers crossed
Early Christmas present yay!
Love the list! For some reason, I find it extremely hard to find the will and time to add new seasons' coasters to my pre-existing ranking, and yet here you manage to create an entirely new list from scratch! Puts me to shame!
It was definitely a haul but i promised to rank every credit when i hit 100k and figured at some point i would need to give it another look
@@AirtimeThrillsEVERY CREDIT?! The mind boggles. I look forward to that. I know I couldn’t do it without wildly guessing for, say, the lesser clone models.
@@StamfordBridgeI generally keep a list in excel and add to it as I ride. I must admit I spend more time with the coasters at the top (top 50-100) of list than those at the bottom less maybe the bottom 20.
@@alantrotter2077 You’d think that I’d find nerdy delight in adding each year’s new coasters to my list, but for some reason I find it really tedious. I’m now three years behind. 😳
@@StamfordBridge i dont take pleasure in ranking my haul of new credits either after a trip so i know how you feel
One of my top coasters made the list! I can't get enough of Twisted cyclone!
You are like one of the only people who agrees with me about Intimidator 305. Yes it is probably the most intense coaster I’ve ever ridden, but it just doesn’t give me that feeling I need to make it a top 50 coaster; and The Beast is so iconic with that finale!
For me Boulder Dash, Beast, and Xcelerator are way way way low. appreciate the high praise for Alpengeist, and wondering if we'll see new jersey Medusa in the next installments
Nah ive never liked the jersey medusa
@@AirtimeThrills different strokes I suppose. for me it's the best B&M looper (floorless or normal)
They just got done retracking Ravine Flyer II at Waldameer. Its running great this year. I got 12 rides back to back during ERT over the summer.
This year, Ravine Flyer 2 was running a lot smoother than it used to. It might move up if you get a chance to re-ride it.
Also, I heard that Playland Vancouver’s Coaster now has seat belts that staple you and greatly detract from the ride experience.
For me, my 2023 rides were far rougher than my 2020 rides. Still a great one though, in my top 50, just no longer top 25.
You heard right about Playland Coaster. It's now got a seat belt and a firm lap bar. Rode it this summer and the girl next to me slammed her face down into the lap bar to boot and got a pretty bad nosebleed. Poor thing. I did feel some airtime but most of it was cancelled out.
Glad i rode coaster when i could
Sucks that after 60 years they had to ruin it
Yessss
lets gooooo
yoo lets go
SO glad Mystic Timbers made top 50!
Goated
Chris we need to get you on the Coney Island cyclone during the summer on a blazing hot day, blows viper out of the water from friends who’ve done both. I’ve only done the original.
2 things about Cyclone, which i have only ridden in the summer, they make you frontload the train so back row rides are hard to come by, and those trains are so cramped, lapbars are bulky, i dont love PTC trains but theyre a heck of a lot better than cyclones
@@AirtimeThrills come out and do it during Luna park fest.
When Disney's best coaster is all the way down at 98, that is proof that they don't focus on high thrill
W list I haven't even seen it
YES
0:07 I see the 600 credit milestone as an absolute win
I’m not as keen on the seaworld orlando rides as you are but manta is a beautiful ride. I would like to get to islands of adventure by 2025 can you do a park video of islands of adventure to maybe include information about epic universe! Thanks for all you do
I do have a universal vlog from velocicoasters opening day and a video talking about universals coasters
9:28 I like the sign because elevators have the "Out of Order" sign.
I can confirm that Thunderhead is very good this year, retrack is showing and in my opinion, it’s better than Mystic
Nerd

FINALLY
let’s goooooo
Video Idea: Rank all of the new and original parks in the six flags combined chain
candymonium ftw!!! 😍😍😍
Viper above tatsu, and raven above thunderbird 🤨 good list thought
I dont apologize for my viper fandom
It’s crazy how the list worked out and naturally formed all of these groups of coasters
Not too coincidental, when ranking them I often compare one to a similar ride and then put them next to each other. Especially with wooden coasters.
Wicked cyclone is so underrated
Hey I just thought of something, when you do your verses versus versus versus verses (well that came out funny) videos, have you ever done one that's a wing coaster versus a wing coaster versus a wing coaster?
I haven't thought about doing that by category because that kind of ranking is more legit and can be a real video. Ranking coasters based on a shared name is more ridiculous and should be treated that way
Bit odd to describe Storm as your first Gerstlauer invert, I was under the impression that it's the only one at present.
(Upon further review they also did a family invert in Yomiuriland)
Yeah its their only extreme one as of now
Airtime Thrills, just wondering where you put prowler at WOF. I personally consider it better than American Thunder, and since I'm a newer enthusiast, it's cracked my top 3. I think it has an elite layout and is a whole lot of fun
It is elite for me, my favorite GCI and a top 25 out of 645.
For Some Reason He Just Doesn't Love Alot Of Coasters I Love Like I305 Prowler And Any Morgan Hyper Etc:
Prowler is solid but its not upper tier for me. Its like a poor mans Mystic Timbers, similar layout and setting, just without the good forces
I still say you and the fam need to be at Kings Island late enough for a night ride on The Beast ... if thats even possible with the new hours scheduled for next year
We are going to KI, I will see if I can pop in the night before our full day to get that ride
I agree that SGAm Viper is better than the original. Alot of the coasters on your list are in similar areas on mine.
Who loves airtime thills
👇
Which of Geauga Lake’s 3 wood coasters, (Big Dipper, Villain, Raging Wolf Bobs) was your favorite and why?
Probably Villain. I got to ride it when it was pretty new. Big dipper was fun also. Raging wolf bobs was dull
@@AirtimeThrills what Raging Wolf Bobs was dull? I can’t think of another Dinn Corporation coaster that is/was dull. Unheard of.
I305 is my No. 4 Viper at Magic Mountain is my No. 25.
I'm 54 seconds in and I know exactly what "coaster" you're referring to whenever you mention Carl Phare. 😉I've never heard of "Stand" but my guess is that company made more than one coaster.
Thats Viper at GAM, no idea what else they did
@@AirtimeThrills That thing? I didn't like it as much as American Thunder. Did you say it was better that Cyclone at Coney Island? Boo! Better than Viper? Which one? The one at SFMM? not as bad a take, but the one at SFMM is more underrated. Thanks again!
@@Paolo8772 ride viper in the right row and its really really good
@@AirtimeThrillsI rode it in the front car once and the back car once and I didn't find it anywhere wasn't as good as Cyclone in NYC (which I'd just ridden 2 days earlier) or Viper at Magic Mountain. Exactly which row are you referring to? I'll make sure to ride it in that row the next time I visit, but it's not exactly my 1st priority. (I've never even ridden The Voyage or Velocicoaster yet.) So what row of Viper at SFGA is the "right row" exactly? More importantly: how can it be better than The Cyclone at Coney Island at Luna Beach Brooklyn NYC in the back car? Please explain.
@@AirtimeThrills What exactly is the "right row"?
I wonder if next year Top Thrill 2 makes this video or the top 50 🤔
In my opinion, twisted cyclone is the most underrated coaster I’ve been on. Could you make a video on most underrated coasters out there. If you have already made one, I would love to see an updated one!
I did make one not that long ago, top 15 most underrated
I’m kind of surprised that Shock Wave at SFOT didn’t make the list. But, overall, I like the list.
Im a big shockwave fan but not quite top 100 worthy
Im surprised you have I305 so low, I thought it had elite airtime, as much as Ghostrider at Knotts.
i305 does have elite airtime. It has the strongest and most airtime moments of any giga. GhostRider has a couple moments of good floater, but many hills didn't deliver for me. It's a gentle (but enjoyable) family coaster compared to i305.
also, my best marathon was 20 times on expedition everest in one day
Love you so much for putting Viper at Magic Mountain in the top 100! Super underrated
Love that you have Viper from SFGA on the list but what manufacturer do you have it listed under? Wouldn’t it be just Six Flags because it’s the only in house coaster they ever built?
I have it under Stand
@@AirtimeThrills that was going to be my guess. I like it, it’s like a code word.
I love gale force, I go there every year.
6:30 I feel so vindicated, I keep telling people that this is one of the better Arrows.
Mineblower is running very slow with the rmc track. There's no airtime in the second half of the ride anymore.
Oof that sucks
Is it running smoother? I heard they only retracked the first couple elements, so I didn't want to give it another chance to snap my neck.
yo is leviathan in the top 50? the one at cw?
btw did u hear they are almost certainly building a hotel and a new "blast coaster"
That makes sense. And yeah it is top 50
@@AirtimeThrills Istg I must be dreaming if airtime thrills just replied to me
I305 has some of the best airtime I've ever experienced. Maybe you've never ridden it on a fast day. It's my number 1 and I've got a similar credit count to you. To each their own I guess
Seems like the best air is killed by the trims
@AirtimeThrills trims weren't hitting at all last time I was there. I was getting launched into the stratosphere over both airtime hills all day
What were the two coasters you had listed from Canada? Dragon Mountain... and? What did I miss?
Coaster at Playland.
The woodie that tries to kill you
OFC! ty
Now I'm curious about which coasters fell out of the Top 100.
Well you can check out last years video and see which ones magically disappeared. I dont think i had anything rise up into my top 50 this year from last years top 100
EDIT: It's been confirmed that one of the top 50 coasters in last year's list did indeed drop entirely out of the top 100. I have posted the list of coasters elsewhere.
*Original post:*
Unfortunately, I can't provide a complete list yet, because the number of coasters I expected to still be seeing in the top 50 is not matching the number I am seeing--there is one too many coasters for the slots available (I have 51 coasters competing for 50 slots), and I don't yet know what that means.
It could mean I made a mistake somewhere and there's a coaster in my provisional top 50 that shouldn't be there. It could mean Chris made a mistake and forgot to include a coaster that should have been on the list. Or it could mean that one of the coasters in last year's top 50 genuinely fell all the way out of the top 100. I don't know yet.
I have a short coming out tomorrow with this info
Please come to Japan. I see every one of your videos. I can't wait how much your list will change after a Japan visit.
It might happen esp if the coaster crew plans a trip there
@@AirtimeThrills Really hope it is this year.
Parks you should definitely do apart from USJ, Nagashima and Fuji Q:
1. Parque Espana in Ise
2. Tobu Zoo just for Bandit
3. Thunder Dolphin at Tokyo Dome
@@Soumyabasu5 tobu zoo has kawasemi, bandit is at yomiuriland. Id like em both though
@@AirtimeThrills right right... My bad!
I've only been to Disney land and kings island and the tallest ride I rode is mystic tembers💀
Hagrids tldr 😂😂
I’m assuming Wonder Woman flight of courage didn’t make the top 100 this year😢
You have defunct coasters on the list like dragster?
He does include defunct coasters.
This is my top 100 ever no matter what
When I came home from Central Florida I started putting together my list of coaster rankings including the new rides I got this year. I haven't ridden even a 10th as many as Mr Airtime Thrills here but most of what I have ridden has been well above average.
I will say I was disappointed in Kraken this year. I last road it 20 years ago and have long thought it was a great coaster but this year's ride was extremely disappointing and ROUGH. It seems that it may be time for this one to be retracked. Manta on the other hand exceeded expectations and has bumped Superman at SFOG down my list. Hagrid's is way too low on this list with many other coasters above it I would disagree with being slotted higher. I mean Mineblower is better than Hagrid's? Nah I don't think so.
Cant's wait to see what makes the top 50.
10 minute gang
My only real concern here is that WCR is higher than Tatsu. I get the dueling aspect is always fun, but the 4 times I've ridden WCR, I was never blown away by the elements. Still a good ride, but I personally like everything about Tatsu better
I think WCR is a more dynamic ride than Tatsu. Tatsu is more gimmicky, WCR is more complete
@@AirtimeThrills Yeah I can see that. You also have like 10x the credits I do so your word means more haha. But I just got a full-time job so Cedar Fair pass is imminent. Never been anywhere up north
Man, I am shocked to see I-305 so low. I get it though, if you dont like coasters that try to rip your face off while smiling, you wont find it the greatest. To me though, I-305 is easily the best giga, and in my top 5.
I enjoy the speed and switchbacks but the first half isnt my cup o tea and after the trims the ride becomes pointless
@@AirtimeThrills I love the twisty, forceful stuff. That's why Maverick is my favorite ride at CP. I305 is simply Maverick, and Millie combined.
I’m wondering where Flight of Courage falls considering Golden Lasso is unanimously agreed on as a much better coaster.
#144
Criminal what you keep doing to I305
It's got a spot at the table it should be happy. Giga with OTSR come on now...
Expedition Everest over Hagrid’s is interesting..
IM FIRST FOR THE GREATEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR
No me but i’ll donate the award
Where does Big Bear Mountain rank?
Wont ride that til 2024
My new favorite family coaster, over Hagrid! Maybe in my top 100.
If daddy pig isn't your #1, this entire list is invalid
I really don’t see the point in having both Firehawk & X-Flight on the list
To me, relocated coasters are separate experiences just like clones so to be consistent they get their own spots
WHY DID YOU PUT KINGDA KA IN 70
Viper in the Top 100. It was a bit of pain but I can see it. One of those coasters which I think we will all be saying we didnt know what we had until its gone.
I'm gonna get some crack and make a channel called Coasters n Crack.
Is it just me or was Hulk running rough this year?
Its been 2 years since i rode and it was fine then
@@AirtimeThrills What's weird is that when I rode it back in 2018 it was running pretty smooth. This year Hulk was running much rougher than Kumba, which surprised me.
