We will probably be in a lockdown then again... I urge you to go straight to an island and stay there.... It can also be a bit cold in November, so make sure to choose an island , or a place, that is to the south of Greece.. Have fun !!!!
Who goes to Greece in November unless you live here? It will be cold windy raining and unless you are on the mainland or one of the big islands everything is closed I hate to say. That's why there is such a price difference with charters or all inclusive deals. May, June July August are the months to go . In september it starts raining.
Not ocean view. Only sea view. There is no ocean, in Greece. Only the Mediterranean sea. The best sea in the world. In the middle of earth, as the word itself implies.😁

I know you probably already know this, but wash the salt off the GoPro. My Gopro 7 fell casualty to the atlantic ocean salt water in the canary islands while I was filming and I didn't even go more than a few meters deep. It says it's good up to 10 m. Great video.. Enjoy summer in Europe!
I wouldn't buy GoPro in the future. The back screen of mine failed out of the sudden without any cause (it had been lying in a cupboard for a short while before I put it there it worked fine and nothing happened to it). So I can't set up most of the functions anymore, only limited functionality with the front LCD.
Gabriel, i've heard that all (or at least most) beaches in Greece are public, not private. So, one can walk the coastlines without being told they are trespassing. Is this true?

The most amazing beach at Agistri is " Halikiada ". If you ever come back again, spot it. It is about 20' walking distance from" Skala", the place you stayed at. It's really breathtaking; not only the beach, but also the surrounding until you reach it.😊
I didn’t Tavel to Crete in May cause the Canadian border is still closed. If Canadians want to travel abroad we have to pay $2,000 quarantine 2 days at a hotel near the airport. So lm planing for 5 month stay in Crete Greece early next year 2022 by then all should be 90% back to normal hope to meet up with you there.. great videos so-far on Greece, Gabriel enjoy the blue sky and clear blue beaches ...

Man that was an expensive meal wouldn't even really call it Greek mutch less traditional. Try lesvos. It has everything you are looking for. I am living here 20 years moved from Texas and I am still discovering cool places I have never seen on this one Island. Much diversity great food and drink, beaches, shopping or simply chill. Whatever you are looking for its a one stop full Greek experience. Thanks for sharing this
Awesome video. You've inspired me to take my first ever solo trip. Heading to Athens in late july for my first time in Europe. From there I'm hoping to visit kefalonia and maybe zakynthos. Have you ever been to Kefalonia? The coastline looks incredible and it has plenty of cliffs to jump off of 😃

Thanks for posting this - skillful & informative. Olympic beach, in Greece, is similar with people dumping unwanted items not far from where tourist stay (standing fan, baby-stroller, sofa chairs, etc). The area made me think of the movie "The Lost Boys" (especially with the arcades & night life) - was great fun photographing it.
The truth is that, during early June or late May you can easily find much cheaper places to stay. With equally stunning, and even better view. Agistri is a " week end" island, mostly for Athenians. At weekdays, only few people go there, so everything is cheap.😊
The disposal of scrap metal is often a problem on small islands. I've seen abandoned cars, boats etc. on the Spanish Canary Islands and even on some of the outlying islands of the UK to a lesser extent. I suppose there isn't the infrastructure to break and recycle metal in these locations.
Hey Gabriel, I am so glad I went back to see this one that got past me. I have definitely got to go to Greece and spend a month or two and do some real exploring. I have a degree in history so I have a real curiosity of what happened and where it happened. Some day soon I hope to get all of my stuff shipped from America to me here in Thailand so I can have what is left of my library. Most of what I kept is all of my research books. I can read Greek but not without my books. I have always had trouble learning languages but with the right kind of books I can get through most of it. Living next to the Mexican border I picked up a lot of the language and living in Thailand for 14 years I have picked up some of it but not proficient in any of them. I'll have to keep an eye out for your next video.
Sure its economy is screwed for now - but in terms of history, heritage, food and natural beauty this is one hell of a blessed little country. Off the charts blessed.

If they served that to Greek people for 20 euros that place would be out of business in one season. I hate watching foreigners get burned. Things will be pricey in some places because of over 10 years of economic collapse and 2 years of covid. The government got 32 billion for covid releaf and the people and businesses have gotten nearly nothing in help as usual and yet these oligarchs can't be gotten rid of. Our government as most countries is full and I MEAN FULL of thieves and corrupt families that do not love their people or appreciate the common man's struggle to do business here. Hopefully one day this can change. Don't confuse Greek government with Greek people. The people are great and will do anything for a stranger. The government however is rotten to the core.

I love these locations barely known and out of the "beaten track" so peaceful and eerie although for the standard tourist not a destination

It's not "literally a boat graveyard", those boats are being stored and are having their anti-fouling paint re done.

Man, you should visit Spetses (sp?) - pretty small island, but a nice one and you can cycle around it in a day! Went there on a family holiday in ‘97!

Greek waters could be quite cold. It’s safe to swim in July and August when the water temperatures are just right.
Did you swim in 12C sea water? I did. And I came out of it all warm. Also it's not singular experience, back here in Northern Europe
