- In this emotional and heartwarming interview, I sit down with my mom to share our incredible adoption story. My mom, an American woman, faced numerous challenges and obstacles over five long years to bring me, a Korean boy, into her life and our family in the United States.
From endless paperwork and denied visas to seeking help from two U.S. Senators, my mom's unwavering determination and love knew no bounds. With the support of her study group, she fought tirelessly to overcome every hurdle and finally, we were reunited in America.
Join us as we recount the struggles, pain, and ultimate joy of our journey together. This video is a tribute to the power of a mother's love and the unbreakable bond that knows no borders. We hope our story inspires you and reminds you of the incredible strength and love that family brings.
Don't forget to like, comment, and share our story to help spread the message of hope and determination!

You and Missha, are a great addition to the Johnson family, and it brings so many great stories and advancement to the two of you. I am so grateful that the Johnson's got you into their lives, you have brought great joy to the family and to America. Not to mention the Tadpool and to Frog pants. You guys are amazing. Please never change.
Wow. That's most kindest comment I can get from you. I'll never change. Being adopted I have learned so much. Mostly good
This man is so awesome. He joined the Johnson family, and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ by choice, and accepted a call to serve a mission for the Lord in Seoul in the 1980s and met the cute girl from from KwangJu, who was serving there at the same time. They married and moved to West Jordan, had 3 awesome kids. They are my friends, all because the lovely woman wanted and loved a little boy in Korea. Thank you Mom Johnson, and thank you Matt. 감사람이다.
Wow! most kind words. Getting a second chance is a miracle. Thank you for your support

Matt, thank you and your mom so much for sharing this life history! I know how hard it was for you in the KSW mission adapting back to your birthplace. Surely you were able to draw on all the lessons of adapting to your new life in America to help. I am sorry we never served in the same District or areas because I would have loved to hear this history to understand who you are better. You have built a wonderful life for yourself.
