    When I was a child my parents would make trips up to Canada to stock up on items, pastries and stuff. We had a Chinatown with little stores but that was about it at the time. Now we have tons of Asian stores everywhere.
    The chain ones we now have the H Mart's, Ranch 99's and now we have T&T from Canada.

    • @dingpongcrate
      @dingpongcrate  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not familiar with Canada asins store. What is ranch99 and T&T? What type of grocery store in Canada?

    • @bubbalo3388
      @bubbalo3388 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@dingpongcrate Ranch 99 originated in California. Think of it as the Chinese version of H Mart. They have a hot food counter that you can buy box lunches, Chinese BBQ and bakery. Some Ranch 99's will also offer a small dim sum collection.
      The T&T stores are based in Canada. They recently opened a store in Washington and a second one is in the works. They also have a bakery and such. But their hot deli food selections are over the top. Their deli selections would shame Ranch 99 and H Mart.
      Where I am there are large communities of Asians spread out about a half and from me. There are two large communities of Koreans, one north of me and one south of me. Chinese there so one North of me and another one North east. And where I am it's a hodge podge of everything. So there are a lot of ethnic stores. You can pretty much find anything from around the world with all the different stores available in my neck of the woods. Haha.

      @@dingpongcrate Ranch prices used to be really good before the pandemic, but prices since then like every place else shot up. It's comparable to H Mart now. Haven't been to the T&T yet as it just opened not that long ago.
