Thank you for this!!! It helped ALOT. Some people don’t understand that there is a technique called nanoblading. They only know of microblading and nano machine hair strokes.
I love you to this. I have found clients come in and are using all this confusing terminology that they don’t really understand. The way you describe this is perfect!
Maya, thanks for this video-- very informative and CLARIFYING! As a novice, I noticed the terminology and phrasing of this service varied and I appreciate the breakdown and correction of what it is actually supposed to be called.
Good morning!!! I just finished a nano certification this weekend and this was better info then I learned there!! Can you tell me if there is a differnce in the actual strokes? can you use the same strokes you learned from microblading to perform the nano blading? Is it just the machine that makes it micro vs nano?
Thankyou so so much for this informative video. I went to have my brows done..there was no consultation..she went ahead and did microblading and shading. I also left there with no aftercare products. I went to another facility to get the aftercare cream. Long story short..no strokes held accept two on the inner part of my right brow. Also..the facility that I received the cream from mentioned..why would she do microblading on mature skin..why not nanobrows..I have now made an appointment to go to the artist who gave me the cream..I hope this will be ok after having had this microblading done. This is going to be a costly and has been a very stressful venture for me.
Any update? I had microblading 6 or more years ago and I didn’t like it. I wanted hair strokes. I recently heard of “nano blading” being thinner more like hair strokes and want to try it but I don’t know where to go. I don’t want to end up with tattoo looking brows. I want hair strokes. This video is still confusing me. Is she saying I need to look for an artist who offers machine nano hair strokes and don’t go anywhere that calls it nano blading? Did you end up getting the nano brows u wanted? Does it not work on “mature skin”?
I am sorry I am still confused. Are you saying that when an artist or business is offering nano blading it is likely we will really be getting micro blading?? (Which I had before and I did not like because it did not look like natural hairs as I wanted. The biggest challenge is finding the right artist to go to and ideally we want to be able to go somewhere in driving distance. I am not sure anyone in my area can do the nano hair strokes I want which I have seen on instagram and youtube. Does it not work on every skin type too? Does previous microblading effect the chances for the best hair stroke results with a nano machine? Can I get the results I want with mature skin?
Yes I agree with what you’re asking. That’s why there’s a problem. It’s confusing. I would ask the technician do they do their nano blading with a machine or with a manual hand tool. That will tell you if it’s microblading or nano machine strokes. Yes previous work can be more challenging to work over. It all depends on how dark your preexisting work is. Also nano strokes ( when done properly) can look extremely natural. Microblading when done very well can look very natural. You have to find the right artist. Come to California and we will take care of you :)
@ Thank you so much for clarifying for me. I wish I could go to CA but its too far for me so I am trying to find someone locally. I tried microblading 7 years ago and I was not happy with it because I wanted natural looking hair strokes like I see nano strokes achieve and I learned after I got it done that she was not able to do that for me so I am trying to do more research this time.
you are amazing and I love the way you teach. Thank you for your videos. I'm going to need to find a class with you because I'm all the way up here in Alaska with no good teachers!
Hi nano blading is microblading. Nano machine hair strokes is a technique completed with a permanent makeup machine to give the same results as microblading without the cutting
So I have had hair strokes done with a microblade twice now... and after years the seem to get muddled and the lines disappear and become blotches. Why is that? Would doing it with a machine yield the same results?

Thanks for the explanation. I have thought this was the case but it's great to have it confirmed by someone so knowledgeable.

I am sooooo glad you had this conversation! I love you and agree that “blading” should be taken out of machine hair strokes 💕
Yes thanks love. So glad you agree and understand my points. ❤❤
thank you so much! I'm planning to do it soon - and I didn't know the difference between the procedures until I saw your video - much appreciated.

does nano brows stays longer on the skin than nanoblading ?
@@vanessamanzano518 depends on the clients skin and the technique of the artist. There are a lot of factors to consider when determining retention

Hi nano blading is microblading.
